In August this year, with the funding of Shanghai Green River Investment and Ningbo Yanchuang Houde Investment Group, more than 70 teachers and students from 10 "Go to the Distance" research and travel teams in Lintao County, Gansu Province walked out of this small northwest city and embarked on a journey of sailing to pursue their dreams.
The capital Beijing, the magic capital Shanghai, Tianfu Chengdu, the mountain city of Chongqing, and the ancient capital of Xi'an, these distant places that have been conceived countless times in dreams have finally become the mountains and rivers under their feet, and the beauty in their eyes.
In the capital Beijing, you can feel the blend of ancient and modern
Beijing, the capital, as a popular destination for "going to a distant place" research and practice, has always been favored by students, and there are also 6 teams in Lintao, Gansu Province who regard Beijing as their "far away".
The "Shenma Dream Team" was attracted by the collision of ancient and modern buildings in Beijing, the "Sailing Team" and the "Pi Team" were curious about the aesthetic characteristics of Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture, the "Di Meng Team" tried to explore the royal culture and Beijing folk customs, and the "Guardians of the Universe" wanted to understand the protection of cultural relics in Beijing. In addition, the "Dream Squad" plans to start with the common plants in Beijing and compare the vegetation ecology of their hometown of Lintao.
The students witnessed the rise of the five-star red flag in Tiananmen Square, admired the red walls and glazed in the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace, were shocked by the national power in the Great Wall and the Olympic Park, and felt the speed of modernization in the busy traffic of the International Trade CenterOf course, the students also came to the Beijing Museum of Natural History to perceive the vitality of plants such as Chinese acacia, arborvitae, lilac and chrysanthemum. The seven-day trip was fulfilling and enjoyable, and the students not only satisfied their imagination of Beijing, but also mastered practical skills such as subway transfer, view and navigation, and scenic spot reservation in the process.

In the magic city of Shanghai, touch the city's architecture
The students of the "Phoenix Team" came to the magic capital with their research program with the theme of "Shanghai's Representative Architectural Style".
They climbed the Oriental Pearl to overlook this international city, walked through the buildings of all countries to retrace the bustling Shanghai Tang a hundred years ago, walked into the alleys to feel the fireworks of old Shanghai, and went deep into the Yu Garden and the City God Temple to experience the urban beliefs caused by architecture.
The members of the "Phoenix Team" were deeply attracted by Shanghai's diverse architectural styles and exquisite design concepts, and saw Shanghai's openness and tolerance.
The introverted Jingxuan wrote, "I grew up in a rural area and can't live in high-rise buildings like people in the city, so I am very happy to have the opportunity to come to Shanghai, a beautiful and prosperous city", and the team leader Yu said that in the process, the children and themselves have undergone a subtle change, the children are more active and cheerful, and they also give students more tolerance and space.
In Chengdu, Tianfu, I met the national treasure "Rolling".
Chengdu's Ba Shi is comfortable in teahouses and alleys, but in the hearts of the students, the leisure of the country of abundance still depends on the endorsement of the national treasure giant panda.
At the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, the team relied on careful observation and patient explanations by the staff to understand the characteristics and Xi of the giant panda itself, and also noticed the correlation between the surrounding environment and the survival and breeding of pandas. As a national treasure, the giant panda lives in Chengdu, not only as a habitat choice, but also as a safe and comfortable environment for "Rolling" through the joint efforts of many scientific research and related field workers.

In the mountain city of Chongqing, look for cultural heritage
The "Dream Chasing Far Away" team took the Fuxing to cross the Minshan Mountain, all the way south to Chongqing, and in the "Magic 8D City" they will start a journey of "looking for world cultural heritage".
Standing in front of the statue spanning thousands of years, the students all sighed at the exquisite skills and pious beliefs of the ancestors, admired the moving folk tales and magical religious legends, and lamented the weight of Dazu stone carvings as a world cultural heritage. Jingxuan said: "My eyes were also led by the stone carvings on the high cliff through time and space, and I saw the past history. ”
In order to explore the firing skills of Rongchang pottery, the students specially experienced the process of drawing, molding, drying, glazing and firing, and completed their own pottery products. Through the interview, it was learned that the local pottery culture was inherited through pottery experience and product exhibition, and the students were also thinking about how to protect the intangible cultural heritage.
After walking into the streets and alleys, visiting the store and interviewing, the students learned that this bowl of somen noodles seems to be monotonous, but it has a lot of good taste, exquisite seasoning, rich taste, and whether it is delicious depends on the taste preferences of the store and diners. A small shop, a bowl of small noodles, in the hot and spicy classmates participated in the common taste bud memory of several generations in Chongqing.
In the ancient capital of Xi'an, explore the charm of history
Xi'an, as the ancient capital of the Thirteen Dynasties, has a strong sense of history and culture that attracts the "Flying Squadron", who choose to explore the profound heritage of Xi'an from the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Xi'an Bell Tower, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and other places, and feel the elegance of the Tang Dynasty in the Tang Furong Garden and the Tang Sleepless City.
It is worth mentioning that in the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, students deliberately brought maps and interview outlines to shuttle through various exhibition areas, ask docents and tourists, and collect knowledge about the production and protection of terracotta figurines, because they plan to make a terracotta figurine in the school's pottery activity room to share the harvest and happiness of distant places with more friends.
Teacher Qin, the team leader, said that the children have a clear division of labor in the process, are relatively independent and can be harmonious and tolerant, and gradually no longer worry about themselves. The biggest feeling is that we believe in our children and give them tasks to them, and they are better than we think.
