Empathetic thinking is needed in life. The elites of society, who have advantages in wealth, resources, abilities and energy, are often unable to understand the mediocrity of ordinary people.
These elites tend to think that ordinary people are mediocre because they don't work hard enough. They ignore the differences in each individual's growth background, education level, life pressure, etc.
In fact, everyone has their own difficulties and challenges, and the resources and abilities that elites possess often do not help them truly understand the plight of ordinary people. However, when these elites are faced with their own powerlessness, they develop empathetic thinking and begin to reflect on their own attitudes and concepts. They will look at life from another dimension and understand that everyone has their own value and difficulty.
For example, when a strong person faces the illness of himself or a loved one, he can understand more deeply the fragility and preciousness of life. When an entrepreneur faces his own failures, he can understand more deeply that success is not easy to come by. Although these elites have superior conditions and environments, they also have a soft side in their hearts.
Each of us should try to look at life from a different dimension, understanding and respecting each other's differences. It is only through mutual understanding and respect that we can create a better society together.
