At the beginning of this year, after upgrading and transformation, today's leveling fields were formed and mechanized farming was realized. Before planting rapeseed, two crops were cultivated in the farmland, sorghum and rice, and the whole process of mechanized cultivation was used, saving nearly 30% of labor costs. On the premise of ensuring large-scale planting, it also improves the efficiency of management and protection, thereby improving product quality.
We are also working on soil improvement to improve the fertility of the land as soon as possible after the transformation, so that we can achieve higher yields when we plant next year. Zhao Youli said that high-standard farmland cultivation requires that only grain, oil and vegetables can be grown, and at least one season of grain can be planted every year, that is, about 12 crops such as sweet potatoes, potatoes, soybeans, sorghum, corn and grains. In the next step, the company will focus on the integration of industrial processing, sales and functions in accordance with the principles of strong management, cost control and efficiency, improve the digital management system of resources on the basis of "six unifications", and set up an expert team, investment team, product sales team, agricultural product processing team, material circulation team and socialized service team to provide operational guarantee for high-standard farmland.
It is understood that in 2023, the construction task of high-standard farmland in Qijiang District will be 130,000 mu, including 100,000 mu of new high-standard farmland and 30,000 mu of hilly and mountainous areas.
After the completion and commissioning, the fields will be completed, the irrigation and drainage facilities will be perfect, the field roads will be smooth, and the pipe network construction will be suitable, so as to achieve the role of drought irrigation and waterlogging energy drainage, facilitate field management, facilitate farmland planting and mechanized operation, and promote grain production and farmers' income. Zhao Xiaobo, deputy director of the Farmland Construction Center of the Qijiang District Agriculture and Rural Committee, said that they are continuing to carry out dynamic inspections of the completed project areas to prevent abandonment, abandonment, non-farming, and non-grain conversion. At the same time, combined with market demand, on the premise of ensuring the planting of grain and vegetables, optimize and adjust the planting structure, ensure the use of fertile land for grain, give full play to the benefits of high-standard farmland, and ensure food security.
