On November 29, the three provinces of Jiangxi, Hunan and Hubei in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River held a symposium on synergistic promotion of high-quality development, at which the phased results of the three provinces of Jiangxi, Hunan and Hubei in continuously deepening strategic docking, facility interconnection, industrial complementarity, ecological co-protection, service sharing and other key areas of cooperation and coordinated high-quality development were introduced.
Among them, the three provinces have made new progress in the interconnection of facilities, the three provinces have joined hands to build a "combination port" in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the "middle triangle" route from Yueyang Port to Yangluo Port to Jiujiang Port has been steadily opened, and the container liner route from Yueyang Port to Jiujiang Port to Yangshan Port has been successfully opened. In terms of ecological co-protection, the three provinces have strengthened the governance of the "one river and two lakes" system, promoted the revision of the "Yangtze River Basin Flood Control Plan", and improved the joint prevention and control mechanism for water pollution incidents, hazardous waste, and atmospheric environmental quality in cross-provincial basins. The establishment of a cross-county, cross-prefecture and cross-departmental joint law enforcement mechanism of the three provinces, the water environment in the border waters has continued to improve, and the number of finless porpoises in the Yangtze River has increased from 1,012 to 1,249. Building a city agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and promoting cooperation between Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi to a new level will make greater contributions to better supporting and serving Chinese-style modernization.
Before the meeting, the three provinces signed 10 cooperation agreements, including the "Cooperation Agreement on the Coordinated Development of Commerce of the Three Provinces in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River", the "Cooperation Agreement on the Anti-Unfair Competition Coordination and Linkage Mechanism of the Three Provinces in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River", and the "Cooperation Agreement on Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction in the Three Provinces in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River".
