BTSR IS3F MTC programmable sensor

The Matrix MTC and IS3F MTC represent an advanced and innovative production control system specially developed to obtain the exact number of meters of yarn collected on the individual cones during the yarn preparation spinning process (winding, winding machine, etc.).

The system is communicated by the Matrix MTC control terminal with IS3F MTC programmable sensors installed at the travel point of the textile machine to control the stroke during the yarn collection process. A sensor mounted upstream of the drum intercepts and counts the number of strokes that have occurred.

Key Benefits: Since the drum function determines the development of the barrel, i.e. the amount of yarn that will be wound on the cone during each stroke, the number of meters required for each bobbin (target) can be programmed in an accurate and reliable way to automatically stop the position as soon as the previously programmed target value is reached.

A dedicated function (count) displays the wound meter in real time.

The IS3F MTC sensor can also detect yarn shortages due to yarn breakage or faulty yarn winding around the spline pulley.

The image change technology makes the IS3F MTC sensor unaffected by environmental yarn conditions, such as humidity, yarn conductivity and machine vibration, as there is no need to contact the controlled yarn; This ensures good monitoring without affecting the tension characteristics of the yarn itself.

Thanks to the innovative sensor management system and the use of multi-connector cables, the Matrix MTC solution can control up to 200 sensors without the need for complex wiring and long installation times.

Fields of application. Textile yarn preparation.
