According to the information released by the National Science and Technology Program Management Information Service Platform, as of now, Shandong University has taken the lead in approving 26 national key R&D projects and 56 projects in 2023, and the number of approved projects and projects has reached a record high.
The approved projects cover 16 special areas such as transportation infrastructure, mathematics and applied research, and hydrogen energy technology, among which the "Hydrogen into Ten Thousand Homes" ministry-provincial linkage project has once again achieved a breakthrough of 100 million yuan. The "Hydrogen into 10,000 Homes" Ministries and Provinces Linkage Project is an important measure to support the "Hydrogen into 10,000 Homes" science and technology demonstration project. The project is a major scientific and technological demonstration project jointly organized and implemented by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Shandong Province to promote the adjustment of the national industrial structure and the transformation of the energy structure, build a modern energy system, and achieve the goal of "double carbon". Shandong University gives full play to the advantages of a comprehensive university, actively organizes interdisciplinary superior scientific research forces, unites leading enterprises inside and outside the province, well-known universities and scientific research institutes, and sets up an innovative team integrating "production-learning-research-application" to carry out scientific and technological research, and strives to build a "Shandong model" for the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry.
