China's wind power base on the most mainland has been put into operation at full capacity.
The picture shows CGNPC's Xing'an League's 3 million kilowatt wind power base, and the China Energy News reporter learned from CGN that on December 10, one of the country's first batch of large-scale wind power photovoltaic base projects focusing on the Shagehuang area - CGNPC's Xing'an League's 3 million kilowatt wind power project was connected to the grid at full capacity, with an annual power generation of more than 10 billion kilowatt hours, becoming the most mainland wind power base in operation in China.
It is understood that CGN Xing'an League's 3 million kilowatt wind power base installs 701 wind turbines, providing more than 10 billion kilowatt hours of clean electricity every year, equivalent to reducing standard coal consumption by about 2.96 million tons, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 8.02 million tons, which is equivalent to afforestation250,000 hectares, the whole life cycle of the project has contributed more than 5 billion yuan to the tax revenue of the Xing'an League, with significant economic and ecological environmental benefits.
CGNPC's Xing'an League 300 million wind power project is the first new energy project in China to be consumed through DC 800kV UHV, equipped with the first 1000MVA (megavolt-ampere) 500kV three-phase integrated main transformer in China's new energy industry, which effectively drives the technological innovation of the upstream of the industrial chain. In particular, the project has also achieved a number of other industry firsts in the field of new energy in China - the first onshore wind power project with 500kV voltage level connected to the power system, the first wind power project that receives multi-level dispatching at the same time network dispatch and provincial dispatch, the first wind power project that adopts distributed condenser, and the first intelligent wind farm that uses one-key sequential control technology of 500kV substation.
With the successive commissioning of CGNPC's Xing'an Meng's 3 million kilowatt wind power base and other projects, it is expected that by the end of 2023, CGNPC's domestic installed capacity of new energy in operation will reach 45 million kilowatts. According to the relevant person in charge of China General Nuclear Power Corporation, CGN's domestic new energy business fully covers wind power, photovoltaic, solar thermal, pumped storage, energy storage, hydrogen energy and other types, and more than 570 new energy projects are distributed in 30 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country.
