When the results of the written test of the national examination come out, I want to enter the interview, and the candidates will want to ask, how to prepare for the interview? How to take the interview?Let's quickly get into the topic and answer these questions.
There are three main forms of national exam interviews: structured, structured groups, and leaderless group discussions.
1. Structuring
Structured interview, also known as standardized interview, is a talent assessment method that evaluates the participant through face-to-face communication between the evaluator and the participant. In the recruitment of the national examination, most of the systems and positions adopt the method of structured interviews.
Specifically, the process of a structured interview looks like this:
First of all, in the examination room, the examiner will read out the interview instructions for the candidates.
Hello, first of all, congratulations on successfully passing the written test, and welcome to today's interview...There are xx questions in the interview, and the duration is minutes. Before answering each question, you can think about it and don't be nervous. Okay, let's get started now.
Next, it is time to enter the formal answering session. In the national examination interview, it is generally based on listening to and answering questions, that is, in addition to materials, cartoons, and charts, other questions will be read and asked by the examiner. Judging from the way of asking questions about civil servant interview questions in previous years, they basically focus on the two categories of questions of "how to see" and "how to do". Usually candidates need to complete 4 or 5 questions in 20 or 25 minutes. Of course, some systems ask a higher number of questions and take a longer time. For example, the Financial Supervision and Administration Bureau (formerly the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission) generally asks 5-7 questions in an interview, and the time is basically about half an hour.
2. Structured groups
Since 2018, the tax system has taken the lead in adopting a new interview format on top of structured interviews – structured group interviews. In this mode, the type of questions is basically the same as that of a structured interview, but the answer mode has changed.
Candidates are usually numbered as ABCs in advance. Question 1 answer order: ABC;Question 2 Answering Order: BCA;Question 3 answer order: cab. Each person has 2 or 3 minutes to answer each question.
After answering the questions, candidate A will comment on the answers of candidates B and C respectively, and then candidates B and C will respond to the comments of candidate A respectively, and the three of them will take turns in turn. It is important to note that each region generally has regulations on reviews and response times, which usually require that reviews should not exceed 1 or 2 minutes per person, and responses should not exceed 1 or 2 minutes.
3. Leaderless group discussions
A leaderless group discussion is a group of candidates who discuss in a given context or around a given issue without appointing a convener, and arrive at a group opinion. In the national examination interview, the number of candidates participating in the discussion is generally 6 12 people. The duration of the discussion is usually about an hour.
The examiner is not involved in the candidate's discussion. The examiner's task is to introduce the candidate to the question before the discussion, giving them the goal to be achieved, the time limit, etc. Most importantly, during the discussion, the examiner assesses several relevant aspects such as how effective the group is in solving the problem and what is being discussed. According to the characteristics of the task itself, we usually divide leaderless group discussions into the following types of questions:
The examination mode of leaderless group discussion is mainly concentrated in the recruitment of the party and the masses and administrative organs. Candidates preparing for the exam need to understand the interview organization form of the positions applied for in previous years, so as to prepare for the exam in a targeted manner.
No matter what kind of interview format, you need to work hard to learn Xi and practice Xi, believe in yourself, and show yourself in order to achieve the best results.
