4 cups boiling water.

4 cups unsalted butter.

2 teaspoons vanilla extract (optional).

Steps:1Dissolve ground coffee: Pour espresso or instant ground coffee into boiling water and stir well until completely dissolved. Make sure that the coffee solution is well stirred and that no particles remain.

.Brew coffee sugar mixture: Place caster sugar, unsalted butter, and coffee solution in a large pot. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is completely melted and the butter has melted in the coffee, forming a thick syrupy like form.

.Add vanilla extract: Add vanilla extract to the coffee sugar mixture and stir well to add an extra aroma. If you prefer a pure coffee taste, you can skip this step.

.Cook until thick: Continue to boil the coffee-sugar mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thick and the color of the syrup changes to light brown.

.Cooling and shaping: Pour the brewed coffee-sugar mixture into a shallow dish or baking dish and spread evenly. Once allowed to cool completely, place in the refrigerator until the syrup is firm.

.Cut and enjoy: When the coffee sugar has solidified in refrigeration, remove and cut into small pieces or rectangles. Coffee candy can be enjoyed as a dessert or with coffee or tea.
