A total of 104 contestants from 28 teams from districts, cities and medical institutions directly under the district in Guangxi entered the finals.

According to reports, since the launch of the competition in mid-August, a total of more than 3,000 professional and technical personnel from various medical institutions at all levels of the maternal and child health system in the region have participated.
The competition was hosted by the Health Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Federation of Trade Unions of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and undertaken by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Maternal and Child Health Hospital and Guangxi Health Vocational and Technical College.
