The universe is vast, and mathematics goes hand in hand with it. Most of us Xi and interest in mathematics probably stop at graduation. But math is really fun!

It's just that I've recently fallen in love with this math interest book about large numbers because of a particularly popular anime - "Sand, Go and Infinity".

The anime is called "Devouring the Starry Sky", and I believe many friends also like it very much. I brushed more than 90 levels in one go, and this brain hole is really big!tells the story of how an ordinary earthling cultivates into an alien.

After reading it, I thought that human beings are indeed small compared to the universe, but the space for human thinking is quite large. To explore the mysteries of the universe, you must use mathematics. Among them, the field of "large numbers" is a very interesting topic.

It just so happens that this book is a book on large numbers. As far as my previous perception is concerned, I have always felt that numbers are infinite and can be infinite. But what is infinity? Is there really no big number that can be described and written?Since reading this book, it has completely refreshed my cognition! There are so many mathematicians studying how to represent large numbers that can be calculated.

The book is divided into 14 chapters, starting with the story of grains of sand and stars, and takes us on a wonderful journey in search of large numbers. The book not only has interesting stories, but also tells the knowledge of mathematics, as well as the reasoning and demonstration process of large numbers, which is very rich.

When you see the words "Gugol, Gugol Plex", don't you feel a little familiar? That's right, it's Google, and the pronunciation is very similar. This is no pure coincidence, when Google's founders, Page and Brin, wanted to name Google, they were looking for a word that would describe "indexing large amounts of data", so they came up with "googolplex", which later became Google.

There is also a well-known story in the book, the story of the "checkerboard wheat". A king in India thanked the prime minister who invented the chess game and asked him what reward he wanted. So the prime minister said that he wanted wheat grains, and that they should be placed according to the checkerboard grid of chess, and everyone knew later that the king could not take out so much rice, and even the wheat grains of the whole world were not enough together. This is exponential operation.

The book tells the story of more than 100 mathematicians from ancient times to the present day and their journey to explore large numbers. There are also many nouns that describe large numbers, such as the Googre, Googor Plex, and the Sherpinski triangle, the Goethe-first conjecture, the fine structure constant, the Mersenne prime, the complete number, the Gurley constant number, the Layovan number, and so on.

The exploration of large numbers will never end, the development of mathematics will never stop, and mankind's exploration of the universe is still non-stop. Let's step into the wonderful world of mathematics together!
