On December 4, the Chongqing Wuxi to Shaanxi Zhenping Expressway was officially completed and opened to traffic. Wuzhen Expressway is the first expressway in Chongqing that directly connects to Shaanxi, and after the completion and opening of traffic, the driving time from Wuxi County in Chongqing to Zhenping County in Ankang City, Shaanxi Province has been shortened from more than 3 hours to less than 1 hour. It can be expected that after the opening of this expressway, the economic exchanges between Chongqing and Shaanxi will be greatly improved, and the economic development of villages, towns (townships), counties and cities along the route will also benefit from this.
In recent years, major national projects, especially those in the field of transportation construction, have played an increasingly strong role in driving regional economic development.
On the morning of November 28, with the completion of the pouring of the last ballast concrete, the main line of the Shenzhong Passage of the major national project was completed. This Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor is not simple, it is a cross-sea passage connecting Shenzhen to Zhongshan, and it is a cross-sea cluster project integrating "bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater interconnection". With a total length of 24 kilometers, two-way eight lanes and a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour, the project is currently the world's most difficult cross-sea cluster project for comprehensive construction. Since the start of construction on December 28, 2016, the construction has been under construction for nearly 7 years. During the construction process, the project set a number of "world's best" such as the world's first extra-long two-way eight-lane submarine immersed tunnel.
It can be said that the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor once again demonstrates the strong ability of China's transportation construction, and it has solved the problems that have not been encountered before step by step in the construction process, including the domestic industry chain has no corresponding engineering experience, there is no mature design specifications, construction experience, quality inspection standards, testing means and methods, etc., including long-distance floating transportation has no experience. However, through the four-in-one combination of organizational design, construction, scientific research and equipment, the research model is combined. China has basically overcome the above problems, formed a project-specific technical standard and a complete set of technologies with independent intellectual property rights, and filled the gap in related fields.
More importantly, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor is not only an important transportation construction project, but also accelerates the integrated development of the entire Greater Bay Area. Many cities are relying on the upcoming Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor to lay out a series of traffic and industrial development policies. For example, the "Bay Area Future Science and Technology City" in Cuiheng New District, Zhongshan City, located at the landing site on the west bank of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, is jointly built by Shenzhen and Zhongshan, with a planned area of about 380,000 square meters, with electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, and modern service industries as the main industrial body, and can accommodate more than 200 enterprises after completion in 2024. In order to attract enterprises to settle in, the local government is constantly improving infrastructure construction and public supporting facilities, and has opened a special window for government services in Shenzhen, and opened more than 400 "cross-city affairs" with Shenzhen, covering talents, social security, medical and health care and other fields.
While improving the industrial policy, as early as June 28 this year, Shenzhen and Zhongshan City jointly signed a cooperation agreement on transportation integration, and the two places will lay out and open Shenzhen-Zhongshan cross-city buses to achieve transportation integration and provide efficient and convenient public transportation services for the citizens of the two places.
What the eye can see is a deep-middle channel, but behind it is the connection between the city, the smooth flow of logistics and the integration of industrial development and capital.
From building roads before getting rich to building good roads and developing together, China is actively playing a leading role in the economy of major transportation construction.
Throughout the years, there have been many major projects across the Pearl River Estuary, from the earliest Humen Bridge to the Nansha Bridge, to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and now to the ...... of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan CorridorBehind these super projects is the increasingly perfect hardware facilities for the integrated development of the Greater Bay Area, which supports the "transportation backbone" of the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and promotes the overall high-quality development process of the Greater Bay Area.
Looking at the whole country, China's construction of a transportation power is a big game of chess, in this game of chess, we will accelerate the construction of cross-river and cross-sea channels, improve the internal and external highway network, speed up the construction of railways, build a world-class port group and a world-class airport group, increase the construction of ordinary trunk roads and "four good rural roads", and build a modern comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network with high quality. With them, they will further promote regional economic development and inter-regional integrated development.
