The statement mentioned that on December 17, 2023, Bao Moumou, an employee of **zaker, and Guan Moumou, an employee of "Xiaobai Buys a Car", intentionally leaked the confidential filming content without permission when they signed the "Confidentiality Commitment" and knew the confidentiality obligation and corresponding penalties.
Xiaomi said that after verification by the confidentiality management team of Xiaomi Group, the above two people have admitted that they have violated their confidentiality obligations. After communicating with their subordinates, they will be held accountable for leaking secrets in accordance with the corresponding terms of the "Confidentiality Commitment" signed by both parties, including but not limited to public apologies and fines.
Xiaomi Group confirmed that in November and December 2023, three former employees of Xiaomi's automotive department participated in the so-called "Xiaomi Auto Seminar" organized by external securities firms and investment institutions without permission for the purpose of collecting "consulting fees" during their employment. Xiaomi said that it "disseminated a large amount of erroneous and false information, seriously misleading the market and disrupting the normal business development of Xiaomi Auto".
Xiaomi said that the above three employees seriously violated the "Xiaomi Group Employee Code of Conduct" and the company's confidentiality obligations, and Xiaomi Group has dismissed them, never hired, and investigated legal responsibility in accordance with the law.
