"One Theater, One Play" brilliantly interprets the story of Xinong's "everyone".
On November 24, 2023, the final of the campus drama competition with the theme of "Nine Ranks, Deep Cultivation, Forge Ahead, Ingenuity and Dreams, Three Rural Loves" came to an end at the Xiushan Activity Center on the North Campus. After more than three months of careful preparation by various colleges, 23 original scripts of students participated in the competition, and after the script review, a total of 16 plays from 13 colleges were shortlisted for on-site performance.

Master of agricultural zoning and development strategy - Mr. Shen Yuqing
Mr. Shen Yuqing, an expert in agricultural regional planning, is one of the founders of agricultural regional planning in China.
After graduating from Xinong, he took root in the beloved yellow earth. He has worked for nearly half a century in the land of Houji and the people, and has made outstanding achievements in the fields of agronomy, farming, agricultural resources and zoning, agricultural development strategy and other disciplines, and is known as "the pioneer of China's agricultural resources zoning discipline".

50 years ago, with the words "learn agricultural science and technology, no longer make my father hungry", he became an obsessed "catcher in the wheat field". 50 years later, he selected and bred "Xinong 979", which has become one of the best wheat varieties in 2012 with the characteristics of frost damage, lodging resistance, disease resistance, high and stable yield, etc., and in 2012, it became one of the six main wheat varieties in the country.
