Original title——Notice on strengthening the traffic safety management of the long downhill section of the seven beams of the G75 Lanhai Expressway and the truck lane
In order to prevent road traffic accidents on the 16 km to 0 km long downhill section of the G75 Lanhai Expressway (from the north exit of the new Qidaoliang Tunnel to the direction of Lanzhou urban area), and ensure the safety of people's lives and property and the safe, orderly and smooth flow of road traffic, according to the relevant provisions of the "Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China", the traffic safety management of the long downhill section of the G75 Lanhai Expressway and the truck lane is hereby notified as follows:
1. Strict separation of passenger and freight vehicles. According to the road conditions and traffic needs, the long downhill section of the seven beams of the G75 Lanhai Expressway implements separate traffic for passenger and freight vehicles. When all freight vehicles driving from south to north of G75 Lanhai Expressway to the intersection of 15 kilometers and 450 meters of Lanhai Expressway, they will turn right into the truck lane in strict accordance with the road traffic signs and markings, and bypass from Lanzhou South Ring Expressway, and it is forbidden to go straight to the direction of Lanzhou South Toll Station. Other passenger vehicles are allowed to pass normally and are prohibited from entering the truck lane.
2. Strictly control the speed and distance between vehicles. The maximum speed of truck-only lanes must not exceed 60 km/h. The maximum speed of the left lane of the G75 Lanhai Expressway from south to north 16 kilometers to 0 kilometers long downhill section shall not exceed 100 kilometers per hour, and the maximum speed of the right lane shall not exceed 80 kilometers per hour. The minimum distance between the front and rear vehicles driving in the same lane shall not be less than 50 meters.
3. Strictly investigate traffic violations. Traffic violations such as violating the above provisions, not following the prescribed lanes, speeding, failing to maintain a safe distance, and violating the prohibition of hazardous chemical transport vehicles shall be punished in accordance with the law.
This notice will be implemented from January 1, 2024. The "Notice on Strengthening the Traffic Safety Management of the Long Downhill Section of the Seven Beams of the G75 Lanhai Expressway and the Truck Lane" (Lan Bus [2022] No. 66) issued on November 21, 2022 shall be repealed at the same time. This notice is valid for 5 years.
