Song Xiaogang, Secretary-General of the China Machinery Industry Federation and Executive Chairman of the China Robot Industry Alliance, said that in 2022, China's industrial robot market will occupy 52% of the global market, becoming the world's largest market for ten consecutive years. Among them, the growth of Chinese brand industrial robots is the fastest year-on-year in the past decade, and almost more than half of the national economy has its own brand of robots in the field.
Wang Hong, deputy director of the First Department of Equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, said that from January to October this year, the operating income of China's robot industry exceeded 130 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 93%, and the total import and export volume of robot products reached 26600 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 23%, the robot industry has a strong development momentum and great potential.
According to Wang Hong, the continuous innovation of China's robot technology products has injected strong momentum into the development of the industry. The technical level of key components such as reducers, controllers, and servo systems continues to improve. Industrial robots have shown serial development, from high-speed, high-precision to high-load, high-reliability products continue to be launched, and the industrialization process of service and special robots has accelerated. In addition, the application field of robots is becoming more and more abundant, and the industrial development space continues to expand. The rapid development of emerging industries such as new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaics, and the accelerated transformation of traditional industries such as sanitary ware, ceramics, and hardware have driven the number of industrial robots in service in China to exceed 1.5 million, accounting for more than one-third of the global total, and the density of manufacturing robots has reached 392 per 10,000 workers, ranking fifth in the world.

How will the global robot industry develop in the future?Susanna, secretary general of the International Federation of Robotics, believes that the use of robots will be more widespread and low-cost, not only large international companies can use robots, but also small and medium-sized enterprises can enjoy the convenience brought by robots. The integration of artificial intelligence and robots will be closer, robots will become smarter, faster and more efficient, and robots will become real collaborators of humans in the future.
