To sterilize glass bottles for canning, you can follow these steps:

1.Washing: Wash the glass bottle thoroughly with warm water and detergent to make sure there is no food or dirt left.

2.Boil: Place the cleaned glass bottle in a large pot and add enough water to make sure the bottle is completely covered. Then bring the water to a boil and let the glass bottle boil in boiling water for 5-10 minutes.

3.Sanitizer: Alternatively, a sanitizer can be used to further sterilize the glass bottle. Bleach or food-grade disinfectant can be used. Follow the product instructions to add an appropriate amount of disinfectant solution to the cleaned water.

4.Soaking: Soak the boiled glass bottle in the disinfectant solution, making sure the liquid covers the bottle adequately. According to the instructions of the disinfectant, the soaking time may vary, but it is generally 15-30 minutes.

5.Rinse: Take out the soaked glass bottle and rinse it with clean water to make sure there is no residual disinfectant.

6.Drying: Place rinsed glass bottles upside down on a clean rack or towel and allow them to dry naturally, or use equipment such as an oven to speed up drying.

Once the above steps have been completed, the glass bottle is safe to use for canning. Please note that sterilized glass bottles should be kept clean before use and ensure that they are well sealed to ensure the safety and long-lasting preservation of food.
