The reporter learned from the first air logistics conference that the Civil Aviation Administration is carrying out the mid-term evaluation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the development of air logistics. Overall, in recent years, China's air logistics support capacity has been significantly improved, the construction of hubs has been accelerated, and the network layout has been gradually improved.
According to reports, as of the end of October, the size of the industry's freighter fleet increased to 254, an increase of 31 aircraft from 2022 and an increase of 81 aircraft from 2019. The airport's cargo facility support capacity (annual design handling capacity) is about 31 million tons, of which the utilization rate of international terminal facilities is about 80%.
In terms of air logistics network layout, up to now, the expansion of the all-freighter route network has accelerated, and the supply capacity of belly capacity has been significantly improved. Domestically, the air cargo corridor dominated by the four world-class airport clusters of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao and Chengdu-Chongqing has been initially formed. Internationally, China has signed bilateral air transport agreements with 129 countries and regions, establishing different degrees of openness.
Third, fourth and fifth air traffic rights arrangements, including 336 international routes, China's cargo airlines connect 61 overseas countries, 142 overseas airports, and 42 countries that jointly build the "Belt and Road".
