This year, behind the craze of direct connection of mobile phones to satellites and cars directly to satellites, a space race has begun.

On November 28, the first China International Chain Promotion Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Chain Expo") was held in Beijing, which is the world's first national exhibition with the theme of the first chain, focusing on the five major chains of intelligent car chain, green agriculture chain, clean energy chain, digital technology chain, and healthy life chain, and the advanced technology, products and services of the upstream, middle and downstream of the industrial chain converge and communicate here.

Spacetime Daoyu is the only commercial aerospace enterprise to appear at the Chain Expo, and it is also the only private aerospace enterprise in China to achieve a commercial closed loop. At the Chain Expo, the world's first future travel constellation independently developed by Spacetime Daoyu, as well as core products such as satellite manufacturing and satellite applications, were unveiled one by one, linking smart travel, consumer electronics, unmanned systems, digital cities and other fields with aerospace technology.

In the second half of 2023, satellite communication will become a flashpoint in the industry and truly enter the lives of ordinary consumers. So far, the mobile phone directly connected to the satellite has been completed on the consumer mobile phone three jumps, from the satellite short message to the two-way short message, and then to the realization of satellite call function, the industry generally believes that China's commercial aerospace is entering the first period, satellite communication is accelerating to the C-end penetration, is expected to open the era of mass satellite communication.

The next flashpoint of commercial aerospace Satellite applications have entered thousands of households

In October this year, after the Huawei Mate 60 Pro launched the world's first satellite call Volkswagen mobile phone, the "IT Times" reporter interviewed a number of users who used the Huawei Mate 60 Pro to make the first satellite **, most of them are members of the outdoor circle: car bloggers who go in and out of no man's land many times a year, couple bloggers who live around the world, and career guides, etc. In addition to carrying a traditional satellite** and the Huawei Mate 60 Pro, they often carry a satellite communications device in their car.

According to one data, more than 80% of the world's land has no mobile network coverage. In the Gobi Desert and no man's land, satellite communication can provide navigation and positioning for vehicles, giving people a sense of direction and security. "Although you can control whether you can go to no man's land, you don't know if the network will be disconnected when disasters such as typhoons, heavy rains, and ** come. The interviewees generally mentioned it.

On September 1 this year, ZEEKR 001 FR was officially released, becoming the world's first mass-produced satellite communication passenger car, which can support two-way satellite messaging and satellite calls.

ZEEKR 001 FR is equipped with the vehicle-mounted satellite communication terminal self-developed by Spacetime Daoyu - Jishixun, which also makes Spacetime Daoyu the first commercial aerospace enterprise to realize the vehicle-grade R&D and mass production of aerospace products and the first to realize the large-scale application of vehicle-mounted satellite communication.

At present, the satellite communication chips and automotive-grade high-precision positioning chips and modules developed by Daoyu have been mass-produced, and will be installed on many of Geely's brand models.

During this year's Asian Games in Hangzhou, nearly 2,000 officially designated vehicles for the Asian Games were equipped with high-precision positioning products and services to achieve accurate vehicle management and scheduling, with a cumulative mileage of more than 2.02 million kilometers.

By 2025, it will complete the networking and deployment of 72 low-orbit satellites in the first phase of the constellation, integrating satellite communication, navigation augmentation and remote sensing AI technology, which can provide "centimeter-level" high-precision positioning for autonomous driving, and empower intelligent networking and intelligent driving.

Through open cooperation, commercial aerospace enterprises represented by Spacetime Daoyu use aerospace technology to help the development of China's automobile industry. At that time, satellite applications and services in the field of automobile travel and consumer electronics will truly enter thousands of households.

The outbreak period of low-orbit satellites in the next five years is coming

The era of giant constellations is coming, and Musk's Starlink, Amazon, Boeing and other giants have launched relevant constellation plans, of which the Starlink plan is planned for 420,000, Amazon's plan is 3,236. China has disclosed about 250,000 pieces.

This is a space race, and the low-orbit satellite constellation must reach a certain level of magnitude in order to achieve continuous coverage, and the principle of competition for orbital resources is on a first-come, first-served basis. Aerospace scholar Huang Zhicheng once told the "IT Times" reporter that Musk's Starlink needs at least tens of thousands of signals if it wants to achieve a global signal without blind spots, and the time window for global chasers is becoming more and more urgent.

The large-scale construction of commercial constellations will drive the rapid growth of the number of satellite launches around the world. On the contrary, in the near future, China's low-orbit satellite launches are expected to enter an explosive period of "exponential" growth in the next five years, and the continuous decline in satellite manufacturing costs is the premise of the outbreak. From January to July this year, a total of 1,883 satellites were launched around the world, including 1,435 low-orbit satellites, accounting for about 76% of the total number of launches.

In addition to launching low-orbit satellites to create future travel constellations, Spacetime Daoyu is also reshaping the industrial chain in the field of satellite manufacturing, promoting satellite manufacturing to the highest level, in order to meet the needs of large-scale satellite development in the future, and continuously reduce the cost of satellite manufacturing.

In Taizhou, Zhejiang, Daoyu has built a satellite gigafactory, which is China's first satellite mass production factory that deeply integrates aerospace manufacturing and automobile manufacturing capabilities.

The factory realizes the large-scale mass production of satellites through the pulsating AIT production line, greatly shortens the development cycle, can achieve a daily output of 1 satellite, and the production cost is reduced by about 45%, as a reference, the production capacity of the European OneWeb production line is an average of 8 per week, and the space-time Daoyu is close to the world-class commercial aerospace enterprises in the satellite manufacturing capacity, which lays the foundation for the industrial chain of the global constellation rapid networking.

6G Prologue. The battle for autonomous and controllable starlinks

Voice in the 1G era, voice and SMS in the 2G era, mobile Internet in the 3G era, ** and live broadcast in the 4G and 5G eras. The biggest feature of 6G communication in the future is to look at the sky, and the integration of heaven and earth is a major consensus of 6G. Satellite networks have become an important part of how to build an independent and controllable space-ground integrated network, and how to make global users "never lose contact".

In April 2020, the state included satellite Internet in the key direction of "new infrastructure" policy support for the first time. In 2023, recognized by the industry as the first year of satellite Internet, the prelude to 6G has officially kicked off, and cars directly connected to satellites and mobile phones directly connected to satellites have entered the homes of ordinary people.

At present, 6G is still on the road of technology research and development and standard formulation. The two sides jointly conquered the core technology of 6G communication - simultaneous co-frequency full-duplex communication technology, jointly developed full-duplex communication satellites for full-duplex communication, promoted the in-orbit verification of this technology, simultaneously promoted the formulation of industry standards, and accelerated the implementation of industrial applications.

Judging from the exhibits at the Chain Expo, Spacetime Daoyu is tapping the potential of the industrial chain. Its self-developed satellite communication chip adopts the 22nm process and the RF baseband integrated SoC design, which supports the satellite communication needs of mobile phones, automobiles and other industries, and lays the foundation for the integrated space-ground networkIts "vehicle-end" integrated design of high-throughput satellite Internet terminal, using phased array antenna technology, built-in powerful multi-mode satellite communication module, compatible with high and low orbit satellite communication capabilities, can make the car become a mobile 4G 5G base station, users can be in the world anytime, anywhere, never lose contact.

From satellite communication chips to terminals, from satellite manufacturing to satellite applications, Spacetime Daoyu continues to deepen the industrial chain and draw a map of the entire industrial chain for the independent and controllable satellite Internet.

Go out The overseas layout of "China's version of SpaceX".

According to the 26th edition of the Satellite Industry Status Annual Report released by the Satellite Industry Association in July 2023, the total revenue of the global space industry in 2022 will be $384 billion, and the total revenue of the satellite industry will be about $281 billion, accounting for 73% of the total revenue of the global space industry.

However, in recent years, Iridium, OneWeb and other companies have gone bankrupt or lost money due to the fact that the business model cannot be closed-loop, Musk's SpaceX is the world's first commercial aerospace company to achieve a commercial closed-loop, and Space-Time Daoyu is currently the first private aerospace company in China to achieve a closed-loop, and its whole industry chain layout can be called "China's version of SpaceX".

Throughout the layout of space-time Daoyu in recent years, it has been at the forefront of domestic commercial aerospace, in the completion of satellite research and development, manufacturing, measurement and control, application and other industrial chain layout, it has been forward-looking layout of overseas markets, promote China's aerospace technology exports, accelerate industrial upgrading.

In October this year, Spacetime Daoyu joined hands with Altel, a Malaysian telecom operator, to promote high-tech R&D and system application, and accelerate the implementation of solutions in the fields of smart ports and smart agriculture.

At the same time, through the construction and operation of the world's first low-orbit future travel constellation, Spacetime Daoyu will provide a new platform based on satellite data applications for the SCO countries and countries along the "Belt and Road", with the help of satellite application data services, carry out real-time cooperation in the fields of multimodal transport, marine energy, emergency disaster response, etc., and promote scientific exploration, application and international cooperation in the field of aerospace.

The chain expo will bring the five major industrial chains together, but also to enable all parties in the industrial chain to communicate with each other, enhance the resilience and competitiveness of the first chain, and build an independent, controllable, safe and efficient industrial chain, so as to better go out and go further.
