1.Overview.
The oil conduit connected to the shore during the loading and unloading process of the oil tanker must be able to adapt to the floating and draught changes of the oil tanker. At present, there are two kinds of domestic loading and unloading oil pipes: rubber hoses and oil delivery arms.
At present, the multi-purpose hose of loading and unloading equipment in the oil terminal has been gradually phased out due to many shortcomings. The use of hoses for loading and unloading has the following disadvantages:
1) Large occupied area: (2) Labor intensity and inconvenient operation when taking over the system: (3) Short service life, low pressure bearing and easy leakage. According to the survey, the service life of the hose is 05 la, and the pressure is low, generally 05 06 MPa, so the oil delivery distance is limited.
The oil arm just solves these problems, and has become one of the widely used metal loading and unloading oil pipes at home and abroad.
2.The purpose of the oil transfer arm.
The oil arm is a special equipment used for docking with ships to load and unload oil and other liquids on the port terminal. The port uses the oil transport police to install a fixed or floating wharf in the port, which is the connecting device between the oil tanker and the wharf pipeline to complete the loading and unloading tasks of oil products.
It can also be used for the loading and unloading of other media, and is a high-efficiency loading and unloading equipment. It replaces the backward situation of loading and unloading oil products with rubber pipes in the past, improves the efficiency of loading and unloading, saves manpower and material resources, and reduces labor intensity.
3.Structural form of oil delivery arm.
The oil arm is generally composed of a column, an inner arm, an outer arm, a rotary joint and a pipe connected with the oil tanker's oil port, which is used to transport liquid and gas products between the terminal and the oil tanker's pipeline system, with a diameter of about DN100 DN600 and a design temperature range of -196 250.
Depending on the type of transmission medium and temperature, the material can be carbon steel, stainless steel or PTEE lining. Depending on the caliber and negative cut, active operation or electro-hydraulic control can be used. In the process of medium transfer, within the normal drift range of propagation, the pipe system of the oil transport can follow the ship. Some of the arms are also equipped with a range monitoring system that provides audible and visual alarms when the propagating splice drifts out of the normal operating range. The oil transfer arm can also be equipped with a double ball valve emergency disengagement joint. When the anchor chain is broken, the ship drifts out of the berth, fire, overload, sudden stormy weather and other dangerous situations, the oil wall and the tanker can be quickly separated. For example, the loading and unloading of liquefied petroleum gas or oil and gas ** oil transportation is also equipped with oil and gas return pipes, and some oil transmission arms are also equipped with heat tracing measures.
The rotary joint of the oil transfer arm is made of alloy steel or stainless steel, and the compound raceway is used, which can withstand the harsh axial, radial and moment loads and rotate flexibly, without leakage, and the detachable design of the joint enables the equipment to be repaired without further disassembling the arm to check and replace the sealing ring, so it is not necessary to prepare the lifting equipment, and can reduce downtime.
The marine oil transfer arm can be equipped with functional modules such as electro-hydraulic control system, overrun alarm system, anti-static system and lubricant integrated filling system, which makes the operation of the equipment simpler and more reliable.

5.General operation steps of the oil transfer arm:
1. Arm operation: confirm that the equipment is in good condition, confirm that the berth of the cargo ship is within the working range of the oil arm, start the electro-hydraulic system of the hydraulic arm, untie the locking device of the arm, manipulate the interface of the oil arm to dock with the interface of the cargo ship, lock the interface and check the tightness of the interface.
2. Disengagement operation: drain the residual liquid in the oil arm, untie the interface locking device and put on the interface cover, manipulate the oil transfer arm to retract and add the arm locking device.
3. Keep in touch with each other when operating the oil arm, and the operator should pay attention to the lookout. Whether it is the operation of connecting and taking off the arm or the loading and unloading operation, if the limit alarm sound, it means that the working range of the oil arm is exceeded, and the berth of the oil arm adjustment ship should be disconnected and reconnected.
4. During the use of the hydraulic system, the hydraulic oil pressure should be within the rated range, and the hydraulic oil temperature should not exceed 60 according to the oil arm manual.
