Uzbekistan is the largest country in Central Asia and a model of global food safety. The country has implemented effective policies in agriculture and animal husbandry, making it one of the top 10 countries to ensure food safety in recent years. This achievement was recognized by foreign experts and representatives of international organizations, who praised Uzbekistan at the seminar on "Ensuring Food Security and Promoting Sustainable Agricultural Development".

However, Uzbekistan also faces a number of food security challenges, chief among which is population growth. According to data released by the press center of the Senate of Uzbekistan on the 8th, the country's population has increased by 15 million in the past 30 years and is now more than 36 million. By 2030, the population of Uzbekistan is expected to reach 40 million, half of the population of Central Asian countries. This means that Uzbekistan needs to meet more food needs on limited land and water resources, while at the same time dealing with reduced food production and poor land.

In order to cope with these problems, Uzbekistan needs to continue to strengthen innovation in agricultural science and technology, improve the efficiency and quality of grain production, protect the ecological environment, and promote sustainable agricultural development. I believe that only in this way will Uzbekistan be able to maintain its advantage in food security in the future and contribute to food security in Central Asia and the world.
