The demand for high-quality tourism has helped to expand the strategy of domestic demand.

Du Jiang introduced that in order to strengthen the implementation of policy planning and consolidate policy guarantees for high-quality supply, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has promoted the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" Tourism Development Plan, "National Tourism and Leisure Development Outline (2022-2030)", "Several Opinions on Releasing Tourism Consumption Potential to Promote High-quality Development of Tourism", and issued the "Northeast Tourism Development Plan" in conjunction with relevant ministries and commissions, accelerating the integrated development of urban and rural road passenger transport and tourism, and strengthening the collaborative innovation and development of 5G + smart tourism. A series of policy documents such as financial support for the high-quality development of rural tourism will coordinate and promote the construction of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou sports and cultural tourism belt.

In terms of improving the quality of tourism products and meeting tourism demand with high-quality supply, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has improved the product series of "urban leisure" and "rural vacation", and promoted the development of sightseeing tourism and leisure vacation through brand creation, standard review, pilot demonstration and other means. Du Jiang introduced that there are currently 1 A-level scenic spots in the country490,000, more than 700 national and provincial tourist resorts, 111 national tourism and leisure blocks, 243 national night culture and tourism consumption clusters, 142 national industrial tourism demonstration bases, 1,597 national rural tourism key villages and towns, and 8 rural tourism key villages and towns such as Yucun in Zhejiang have been identified as "best tourism villages" by the United Nations World Tourism Organization. At the same time, the pilot work of the integrated development of red tourism in the country is also being solidly promoted.

In order to innovate the supply of tourism products and create tourism demand with new supply, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has actively developed new products and new formats such as camping tourism, ice and snow tourism, sports tourism, marine tourism, tourism and performing arts, and launched 7 national ski tourism resorts, 22 camps of 5C and 4C in the third batch of national self-driving caravans, 13 national sports tourism demonstration bases, the first batch of 24 pilot projects for cultivating new spaces for immersive experience of smart tourism, and 40 high-quality tourism and performing arts projects. The tourism products from all over the country have been strung into a chain, and 10 Yangtze River-themed national tourism routes, "China Road" top ten self-driving tour boutique routes, more than 400 "Four Good Times in the Countryside" national rural tourism boutique routes, "Read Li Bai to travel to China" theme tourism routes, Chinese tea culture theme tourism routes, etc. In addition, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has also carried out new supply and new demand docking activities, and jointly launched the first batch of 46 rich transportation and tourism integration examples with six departments including the Ministry of Transport, so as to promote the development of new products and new formats of transportation and tourism.
