Typical applications of HACH Cache Dissolved Gas** Analyzer HACH GLI Polarography Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer.
Typical Applications. Dissolved oxygen monitoring in municipal wastewater and industrial wastewater treatment plants, dissolved oxygen meters are mainly used to ensure that there is sufficient dissolved oxygen in the water treatment process to maintain the activity of microorganisms and optimize the use of energy by controlling the aeration rate.
The GLI dissolved oxygen meter is suitable for monitoring at all points of process in wastewater treatment plants. Typical application environments include conditioning cells, aeration tanks, aerobic anaerobic digestion cells, and effluent monitoring.
It can also be used for the determination of dissolved oxygen in various water bodies such as surface water, sewage and salt water.
The HACH GLI series of dissolved oxygen analyzers is available in three sizes: SC200, D33 and PRO D3, of which PRO D3 can be used in hazardous areas.
Measuring principle. The GLI Polarographic Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer, equipped with the GLI5500 dissolved oxygen probe, uses Clark polarographic battery technology, and consists of a three-sensor system consisting of a gold sensor, a negative sensor, and a silver reference sensor. The silver reference sensor is polarized with a constant voltage, which stabilizes the measured value and avoids interference from conventional two-sensor systems, making the GL 5500 sensor highly accurate and stable.
Probe features: The GL5500 dissolved oxygen probe features an all-in-one, replaceable membrane head assembly, each pre-loaded with diaphragm and electrolyte, simplifying the tedious task of replacing new membranes and electrolytes. The dissolved oxygen sensor adopts three-sensor Clark measurement technology, which makes the sensor have high accuracy and stability. Optional air self-cleaning system.
