In recent years, Pidu District of Chengdu has built the "China Sichuan Cuisine Industrial City" with "Pixian Douban" as the core, and has better promoted and supported the development strategy of "going out" of Sichuan cuisine in the province with the five leaps of "mud to mouth, variety to brand, chain master to chain, aggregation to integration, and introduction to leading". The practice of China Sichuan Cuisine Industry City shows that as long as the agglomeration and development and the group charge, the Sichuan cuisine industry can become a promising, influential, large-scale and driven industry. 3. Some suggestions for promoting the high-quality development of the Sichuan cuisine industry

According to statistics, in the decade from 2012 to 2022, Sichuan's catering revenue increased from 1222200 million yuan increased to 3011500 million yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 944%, ranking first in the Midwest. In order to promote the high-quality development of the Sichuan cuisine industry, the following five suggestions are put forward.

(1) Increase support for the public brand building of "China Sichuan Cuisine Industry City".

China Sichuan Cuisine Industrial City plays a special role in promoting the integrated development of industrial chain, innovation chain, talent chain and capital chain, and then improving the high-quality development of Sichuan cuisine industry, which deserves attention and special support. In-depth excavation of the cultural resources of the Sichuan cuisine industry, sorting out the relevant historical and cultural heritage such as representative dishes, historical allusions, technological processes, architectural remains, and inheritance, tracing the development of Sichuan cuisine in the cultural system of farming culture, market culture, and food culture, establishing a deep connection between Sichuan cuisine culture and excellent traditional Chinese culture, and telling the story of Sichuan cuisine. Promote the innovation and integration of the Sichuan cuisine industry, give full play to the leading role and brand effect of leading enterprises, and encourage and guide leading enterprises in Sichuan cuisine to extend the industrial chain and diversify their development. (4) Relying on the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, promote regional cooperation and co-construction of the Sichuan cuisine industry

Sichuan cuisine takes the Sichuan Basin as the hinterland, links Sichuan and Chongqing, covers the basin and has strong regional attributes. Promote the branding of classic Sichuan cuisine, hot pot, gaiwan tea and other Sichuan-Chongqing common characteristic catering products, and create a food landmark. Work together to hold key exhibition activities such as the Food Festival and the Pixian Douban Expo.

(5) Encourage integrity and innovation in the research and development of Sichuan cuisine

Adhering to the concept of integrity and innovation, we will promote the research and development of raw materials, processes, storage, transportation and other aspects of the Sichuan cuisine industry. Deepen the research and development of breeding, planting and deep processing technologies for special agricultural products such as Hanyuan pepper and Erjingtiao pepper. Promote the research on characteristic seasonings and flavor substances that represent flavor types, index and parameterize the "100 dishes and 100 flavors" of Sichuan cuisine, and use science and technology to help the modern Sichuan cuisine industry recognize, promote and inherit traditional flavors. Give full play to the role of industry associations such as the Sichuan Gourmets Association, the Sichuan Cuisine Association, and the Sichuan Cuisine Professional Committee of the Sichuan Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association, and deepen the innovation of Sichuan cuisine technology and kitchenware. Strengthen the technology research and development of food storage and transportation, especially for the preservation of the flavor and freshness of high-quality ingredients in the circulation process, increase R&D investment, and reduce the transportation cost of high-quality ingredients.
