Recently, the fitness plaza of Banzhou Village such as Wushenggong Town in Nanxian County was officially opened to the public, and the former wasteland has now taken on a new look, and the square is filled with the laughter of the villagers.
The birth of this fitness plaza originated from the voice of the masses. Some villagers reported that the wasteland in front of the school was overgrown with weeds, which affected the aesthetics, and it was inconvenient for parents to pick up and drop off their children. This issue attracted the attention of Song Min, secretary of the general party branch of Zhibanzhou Village, and Zhou Shangqin, first secretary of the village-based work team. Song Min immediately organized a solution for the two committees of the village branch, and went to the door with the town and village cadres to actively solicit the opinions and suggestions of the villagers, understand the needs of the masses, and finally decided to build the wasteland in front of the school into a small square after many consultations. With the strong assistance of the municipal Baolian unit Yiyang City's first-class village team and the people of Wushenggong Town, after a month of intensive preparation and construction, including the formulation of design schemes, scientific layout planning, project declaration, weed eradication, land leveling, turf laying, road hardening and equipment installation, a series of work have been successfully completed, and finally the idle wasteland has been successfully "transformed" into a fully functional fitness square.
Today, this fitness plaza has become a good place for the villagers to relax and entertain. Especially when school is out, the square is bustling with activity. The villagers take a leisurely walk, sweat and exercise, or concentrate on playing chess.
In the next step, Wushenggong Town will combine the "Healthy South County" action plan to fully increase the participation rate of national fitness by increasing the publicity of the concept of national fitness and holding a variety of cultural and entertainment activities, so as to open up the "last mile" of serving the health of the masses, so that more people can enjoy the health and happiness brought by sports.
