Warm Winter Good Thing Award
The Motorola RAZR+ caught our attention earlier this year when the foldable flip phone came with a larger screen, a vegan leather case, and other improvements to the camera and battery life. Now, the RAZR+ is even more eye-catching, with a new color that joins a variety of options.
Motorola will sell the Razr+ in a new color called the Pantone 13-1023 Peach Fuzz. With the addition of the current color options such as Infinity Black, Glacier Blue, and Viva Magenta, this new option comes in peach, "with a comfortable, gentle character, chosen as the color of the year for 2023."
The collaboration is centered solely on the phone's colors and doesn't bring any new features or components to existing Motorola smartphones.
That's not to say that the razr+ is compromised by the new features. Earlier this year, the phone's 3We were impressed with the 6-inch exterior screen, which is large enough to run apps, not to mention provide notifications, and it also doubles as a viewfinder when you're using the RAZR+'s main camera**.
The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset offers powerful performance and has a sturdy construction with no visible gaps when the phone is closed. All of these factors have helped the Razr+ surpass the Galaxy Z Flip 5 to become one of the best foldable phones of the year among devices that mimic the previous generation of flip phones.
The creases of the Razr 40 Ultra aren't always noticeable, especially when you're not in a particularly well-lit area. But it seems to me that the more I use my phone, the more noticeable the bend becomes. This crease is also easy to find by touch, which has been since I got my hands on the 40 ultra – which is undoubtedly a drawback to the hinge mechanism itself.
It's worth mentioning that the Motorola Razr 2023 series is working on lowering the ** of foldable devices. Or at least the entry-level Razr is just that, becoming the cheapest foldable phone to come out so far.
In other regions, the Razr+ is available as the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra**. This model also gets the treat of a peach fuzz. Motorola's Peach Fuzz phones will begin shipping on December 12.
