N years ago, I wrote a small article "New Year's Day is a thorn in time", thinking that among Chinese festivals, New Year's Day is the only festival that rarely carries the connotation of traditional culture, and it is the closest festival to time. Because of its short history, and because of its consistency with the working day, it naturally becomes a time node to summarize the past and look forward to the coming year. Around New Year's Day, whether it is a state organ, an enterprise or an institution, or every group or individual, they often make a summary of the past year and plan for the coming year. In this sense, compared with those traditional festivals that carry many traditional cultures such as reunion, thinking of relatives, thinking of history, celebrating Fengfeng, Qingchun, etc., New Year's Day is a more personal festival, a more individual festival, and each of us has its own festival, whether it is a personal review and summary, or looking forward to the future, it is as you like.
At the end of the year, I participated in a small gathering of friends, all of whom were old friends and people in the literary circle, so this party had a layer of elegance compared to the usual dinner. When old friends get together, there are always endless topics, talking about literature, life, society, and the past. There is wine, but not wine, although there are praise and disapproval from time to time, but it is never difficult to force others, and what you want is a happy and comfortable atmosphere. This can be regarded as a feature of this kind of elegant gathering. After a few decades of drinking, they often recite poems, poems written by friends, one section per person, recorded by mobile phones, and sent to friends who write poems in distant places. Today's party organizers have filled in another content, which is to take turns reading the New Year's Day blessings. The blessings are printed in advance, and it makes sense for everyone to read a paragraph. It is said that many restaurants are full before New Year's Day, and many of them are young people who celebrate the New Year during the New Year's Eve period. This small gathering also made us "younger" because of this new content.

It's not annoying, but it's obviously not much enthusiasm. Maybe that's because of age!In this world, blessings may always be indispensable, but the realization of each person's vision often has little to do with blessings, and it depends on personal extraordinary efforts to win. When I was young, I often paid attention to the sense of ritual and looked to the future, and more of them were grandiose. And only when you are old may you feel the importance of being down-to-earth.
Kong Ming said: If you are not indifferent, you will not have a clear ambition, and if you are not quiet, you will not be far-reaching. Many people take this sentence as a guideline and ask a famous artist to write it and hang it in the court, but how many people can do it?As long as you can't resist the ** of famous mountains and seas, you will never be able to reach that kind of state. Of course, there is nothing wrong with fame and fortune, and there is probably no one who doesn't like it, but it's not good if you sacrifice your roots to fight for fame and fortune. The same is true of literary circles. Forty years ago, the old man Sun Li once said: How complex the society is, how complicated the literary world will be. There are all kinds of people, etc., and there are various articles. He believes that for articles, the sentiment of the writer determines its superiority. People who are shallow and frivolous, move when they see profits, and tend to trend when they see the trend are not sentimental. These words, for so many years, have been ringing in my ears all the time, urging me to be vigilant when I am proud, and giving me strength when I am frustrated. Let me calibrate my inner course again and again, trying to become pureer, simpler, closer to my heart, closer to the words. The circle, if the atmosphere is good and the atmosphere is right, will become an excellent place for a person to cultivate, otherwise it will do more harm than good. Writing, in fact, is a very private act. It has been said that writing is a spiritual practice. In fact, writing is a kind of practice, and articles are just by-products of practice, and the level of articles is naturally inseparable from the level of your practice. If you don't cultivate your heart well and your heart can't reach a high level, then you can't write a good article just by relying on the so-called talent and rhetoric.
The river of time always flows forward, but the river of the writer's heart often goes against time, and its direction is not the future, but the past. In the past of life and emotion, the writer goes back against time, salvages those valuable pearls in the intertwining with time, and dedicates them to himself and the future. Every writer has his own internal river, this river is unique, egoistic, exclusive, whether you can write a good work, depends on whether your river is turbulent and surgingOr is it a pool of shallow water?Maybe it has nothing to do with experience, but more to do with whether your river is deep and winding enough, whether the riverbed is wide or narrow, and whether you are good at digging, discovering, or performing.
