MACAU, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) --(Reporter Wang Chenghao, **On the afternoon of the 1st, the Chinese manned space engineering delegation ended its visit to Hong Kong and arrived in Macao via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. During their three-day stay in Macao, the delegation will introduce the development of China's manned space program to the scientific and technological circles of Macao, as well as school teachers and students, and have face-to-face interactive exchanges.
In his speech at the welcome dinner, the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Ho Iat Seng, said that the delegation's visit to Macao is of great significance to demonstrate the country's concern and support for young students in Macao in science and technology education. I am confident that our young students will cherish this opportunity very much.
Lin Xiqiang, Deputy Director of the China Manned Space Engineering Office and Head of the Delegation, said that the main purpose of the delegation's visit to Macao was to experience Macao's development and prosperity with everyone, witness Macao's development achievements, share the joy of the completion of China's space station, and stimulate young people's passion for scientific exploration and aerospace engineering. We are willing to actively support the scientific research institutions and scientists of the Macao SAR to participate more in the construction of the manned space project, especially at this historic moment when we jointly look forward to the payload experts of Macao to carry out China's manned mission.

Before leaving Hong Kong, the HKSAR** held a farewell ceremony for the delegation at Government House. Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee said in his speech that through this visit, I believe that Hong Kong citizens can deeply feel that Chinese people have a firm determination to fight on the journey of realizing the aerospace dream. Hong Kong people are also deeply proud of the country's extraordinary achievements in aerospace science and technology.
At the invitation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region**, the Chinese manned space engineering delegation will visit Hong Kong and Macao for a six-day visit on November 28 and will return to Beijing on December 3.
