From December 20th to 22nd, the national finals of the 5th China Industrial Internet Competition were held in Ningbo, Zhejiang. Yangtze River Electric Power, a subsidiary of the Three Gorges Corporation, won the first prize in the leading group of the national finals with the first overall score for the "integrated and innovative industrial brain solution for the new generation of hydropower industry".
The event was hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Zhejiang Provincial People. As one of the highest-level industrial Internet competitions in China, the China Industrial Internet Competition has been held for five consecutive years since 2019, with a total of nearly 10,000 teams and more than 30,000 people participating in the competition, and the influence of the event radiates across the country.
A total of 2,043 teams participated in this competition, and after local competitions in Beijing, Ningbo, Zhejiang, Wuxi, Jiangsu, Qingdao, Shandong and other regions, the top 100 were selected to enter the national finals. In the finals, 19 top experts and investors in the field of industrial Internet will be represented to score the needs and goals, technical characteristics, application efficiency, maturity and roadshow performance of the participating teams.
Yangtze Power's "Integrated and Innovative Industrial Brain Solution for the New Generation of Hydropower Industry" is an intelligent application system for holographic state awareness, global situation assessment, full-state virtual-real co-change, and global collaborative optimization built for the power station group in view of the characteristics of huge scale, time-space, cross-regional, cross-network, and complex structure of the giant power station group in the basin. At the end of 2017, Yangtze Power began to lay out the construction of industrial interconnection platform, using the latest IT technologies such as microservice architecture and AI, integrating more than 40 years of experience in the operation, maintenance and management of giant power station groups, independently developed an industrial Internet platform with hydropower characteristics, and put it into application in 6 cascade power stations in the world's largest clean energy corridor in the main stream of the Yangtze River, which greatly improved the safety and reliability of power station operation, greatly reduced costs, and greatly shortened the development cycle of intelligent applications.
In the next step, Yangtze Power will take the hydropower industry Internet platform as the general starting point, carry out digital transformation in a solid manner, build a industry-university-research-application integration circle, form a scientific and technological innovation community, build a hydropower ecological chain, and empower the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the hydropower industry with digital transformation.
