History of the institution:
In 1983, the Université Paris-Sud was accredited by the Commission for Engineers' Titles (CTI). Thus was born the École École des École des Études de Paris (fiupso) in Auxé de Electronic systems and industrial computers were the core majors of the university's laboratories, followed shortly thereafter by a materials major. Over the years, the University of Paris Sud has added several engineering majors, such as FIIFO (Computer Science), NFIO (Optoelectronic Technology) and NFI Tean (Electronics Apprenticeship). These courses are developed through traditional pathways, apprenticeships, and further education.
In 2004, all courses were concentrated at the École des Engineers Training in South Paris (L. École d'Engineers'institut de formation d'Ingénieurs de Paris-Sud), which was renamed École Polytechnique du Sur after becoming part of the École Polytechnique network in Paris in 2010.
On January 1, 2020, the University of Paris-Saclay replaced the University of Paris-Sud! École Polytechnique Sud became the in-house Faculty of Engineering of the University of Paris Saclay and changed its name to École Polytechnique de Paris-Saclay!
