The origin of New Year's Day.
To understand New Year's Day, we must understand our ancients' cognition of the laws of heaven and earth changes.
The ancients made it clear from the beginning of "Yi": the number of heaven and earth depends on the number, the number of days begins with one, and finally there are five out of twenty.
What does that mean?
The ancients believed that the year was divided into 12 months and 24 solar terms, but we know that the 24 solar terms start from spring and end with winter. However, among the 24 solar terms, there are only summer and winter, and there are two important nodes, namely the summer solstice and the winter solstice.
Only summer and winter are the special angles between the sky and the earth during the year. For example, on the summer solstice, the angle between the sun and the earth is exactly 90 degrees, which we also call the zodiac. The angle of the winter solstice is exactly 270 degrees, which we call the zodiac. There are also sayings such as Huang Yan and Xuan Huang. It's all about the relationship between the sun and the earth.
Let's talk about the relationship between the angle between the sun and the earth, how we ancients determined the relationship between the earth and the sun.
Since the time of the Yellow Emperor, our ancients have clearly begun to study the relationship between astronomy and geography, and the Xihe period has the concept of the ecliptic, and established the precise time trajectory of "double solstice". At the same time, from the Xia Dynasty to the Shang Dynasty, the laws of the earth's orbit around the sun were calculated through the earliest mathematical calculations.
At this time, the division of December of the year was clarified, and the primary festival was formulated, that is, the New Year during the summer tide period began on the day of the winter solstice. So this is also the earliest in China, the beginning of the name of the first month, the Shang Dynasty has separated the first month from the winter solstice, giving rise to the concept of "Shuo".
The earliest meaning of "Shuo" is: the beginning under the accumulation, or the beginning under the accumulation. The emphasis is on inherited development.
During the Zhou Dynasty, due to the high development of mathematical principles, it was officially clarified that the way the earth and the sun move is a circle, and it is calculated as an ellipse.
That is to say, the Earth orbits around the Sun and is elliptical. Strictly speaking, the Shangshu and Hongfan are far less clear than the Yi.
The angle between the earth and the sun is actually the angle between the ellipse, the so-called 360 degrees, which is 360 degrees under the ellipse.
The winter solstice during the Zhou Dynasty is also called Shuo, the problem is the definition of Shuo, the Shang Dynasty period has been clarified, and the Zhou Dynasty inherited the Shang Dynasty, indicating that the winter solstice during the Shang Dynasty should also be called Shuo. During the Western Zhou Dynasty, Shuo was also Yuan Shuo.
According to the true relationship between the earth and the sun, our twenty-four solar terms, the actual end point should be the winter solstice. This is the end point and the starting point. So that's the definition of Shuo**.
Of course, according to the records of the "Book", the era of Shun, that is, the beginning of Xihe's official astronomical research clan, the winter solstice has been named Shangri.
The last day, as the name suggests, is the day when the sun is farthest away. Therefore, the annotation of the "Biography" interprets the previous day as the new day.
If there is no problem with our ancient records, it means that in the time of Yao Shunyu, we have been very clear about the trajectory of the sun, or the trajectory of the earth and the sun. This kind of clarity is an accurate definition, rather than a simple one-year cycle calculation, and more of an internal law is discovered.
Based on the synthesis of historical books, miscellaneous records, astronomy, arithmetic, etc., I came to a relatively conservative conclusion that during the Zhou Dynasty, we have been very clear about the relationship between the orbit of the sun and the earth, and defined the relationship between Beidou and the North Star, the sun, and the earth. In other words, the astronomical calendar of our Zhou Dynasty period is very close to modern astronomical calculations.
What does this have to do with New Year's Day?
During the Zhou Dynasty, New Year's Day had been separated from the New Year, and New Year's Day was called Shuodan at that time. Dan's character is simply a sketch of the operation of the sun and the earth. Therefore, Shuo is also called "north", and "north" means the farthest distance.
Why did the Zhou Dynasty separate Shuodan from Nian?In fact, it is not too far from what we know today. We know that after the end of New Year's Day, there is still a long time before we can enter the "spring", that is, the running of the earth almost ran out of the scope of the sun's constraints, and the sun was very nervous on this day. So, our ancestors discovered a secret of the solar system, and every 12 years, Jupiter helps the solar system correct the Earth's orbit.
And this discovery does appear in the customs of Xia. Therefore, the summer year is called a year old. Jupiter, also known as the star of the year by our ancients.
When we look at our year, the oldest abstract text, the meaning of which actually is: correcting the track. And the value and meaning of Jupiter, humanity today has not fully figured out.
At the same time, we also have a five-star alignment and a seven-star alignment, why should it be called "Lian"?The original meaning of Lian is to maintain a high degree of closeness. The purpose is clear, in order to help Big Brother Sun, unite his various younger brothers.
Because of this, the relationship between the sun and the earth is very close, and the relationship between the earth and the sun is very tense on the day of the winter solstice, so the ancients were very troubledOr do you arrange the sacrifice according to the temperature of the earth?
So the Zhou Dynasty tossed around on this issue for hundreds of years, so the New Year during the Zhou Dynasty first appeared one month before the winter solstice, and there were also winter solstice New Year, and one month after the winter solstice.
The old ancestor really had a hard time with this.
Maybe the ancestors thought at that time that the earth always wanted to be separated from the sun and engage in liberalism, how could this be good?Like a moth, its cells were in a hurry, watching their owner jump into the fire pit with him.
Such a problem has not been well solved, and the princes and countries in the Spring and Autumn Period were also very chaotic, until the pipe gradually further clarified and formulated the separation of Shuodan and Nian, so Nian became Nian, and Shuodan became Shuodan. This is also due to the fact that the Qi State implemented the rules of the world on behalf of the Son of Heaven at that time, so in this way, Huaxia really solved the relationship between man and the earth and the sun.
In other words: the relationship between the earth and the sun is beyond human control, but in order to respect the earth and the sun, a fixed date is set, which is not called the winter solstice at that time, but is called the New Year. The year has a relationship with the revival of all things on the earth. So the 24 solar terms gradually matured at this time.
This is what I began to say: the number of heaven and earth depends on the number, the number of days begins with one, and ends with twenty and five.
Twenty-five is the relationship between man and the earth and the sun. The 24 solar terms are just the relationship between human beings and the sun. People don't care about the temperature or not, but free humans care.
The ideal of the earth is freedom – .
Therefore, we must also thank the New Year, so we have to incense Tai Sui on every important festival. Of course, due to cultural changes, such a cognition, after the two Jin Dynasty, began to make up stories. In fact, none of the people who really study science tell stories, such as Zhang Heng, and record the relevance of these contents very clearly.
Another example is Ban Gu's "Astronomical Chronicles", such as Dong Zhongshu's "Spring and Autumn Dew", Liu Xiang, Wang Chong, etc.
By the time of the Han Dynasty, there were several more major fluctuations. The issue is still about people and the planet, and who will prevail. So for the New Year and New Year's Day, I kept making adjustments.
During the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, the concepts of the first month and the first month were formalized.
Yuan is the beginning, and the right is the line. That is to say, the literati in the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty had a more active brain and a strong ability to define, the earth is the main body of human beings, and "her" is emotionally stable and determines the survival of human beings, so the earth is still treated as the boss of human beings, so it is set as "yuan", that is, the ancestors, don't make trouble, think about your people when you are emotionally unstable.
And human beings themselves use the word "positive", which is very low-key, but it is very revealing.
Such cultural development, so gradually appeared the first month of the new day, when the development of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Shuo became almost every month of the beginning of the name.
This made Dan very unhappy, obviously it was Dan's special word, and he was separated by a gang of two hundred and five. The more people in the future, the more uneducated, so they were once called Yuan Ri, New Year's Day, Zhengdan, etc., and all kinds of strange names emerge in endlessly.
Until the Song Dynasty, due to the vigorous restoration of the pre-Qin culture, astronomy made great progress, and the astronomical data of the Spring and Autumn Ten Kingdoms were also collected in fragments. I once suspected that the Song Dynasty might have begun to excavate the graves of the ancestors, which is very difficult to say. We study Feng Shui, in fact, a large part of the reason is to study the tombs of the ancients.
At that time, the New Year's Day of the Song Dynasty was not called New Year's Day, but the New Year's Day. This has something to do with the Tang Dynasty, but because the further back the day, the more cumbersome the information becomes, so far I have not made such a conclusion clear.
But what is certain is that the title of New Year's Day certainly did not start in the Song Dynasty, at least not in the Northern Song Dynasty.
This is our New Year's Day experience. The ancients' New Year's Day and the winter solstice were the same day, and the name of the winter solstice belonged to the relationship between man and the sun, while the Shuodan was the name of the relationship between the earth and the sun.
2023 turn the page On New Year's Day, the ancients paid a lot of attention to it, because the earth was far away from the sun, and people's mood was extremely low. Of course, it takes a person with a high perception of the crowd to understand what I'm talking about. That is, around the winter solstice, people's mood swings are extremely high. Therefore, the ancient winter solstice was to drink red bean porridge, abstain from meat for seven days, and abstain from killing for seven days. Of course, this is part of the custom. There is also a part of the customs, which belong to activities, and reduce human emotional tension through collective activities.
Indeed, if each of us saw the moment when the earth and the sun were the farthest, it would be the time when the relationship between the earth and the sun was the most tense
Today's New Year's Day, in fact, is still related to human emotions.
For example, festivals like New Year's Day are fully utilized by us as an important way to encourage and cheer up. Reducing everyone's negativity in the past year, it seems that after the earth followed the big brother, everyone was inexplicably excited, as if they had found a direction in their lives.
The congratulations of the ancients on New Year's Day were officially called "Worship Bi". Folks call it: Joy. These words are related to the reasons I said.
Therefore, New Year's Day cannot be called happy, because the earth is going to betray Big Brother, which is not a happy thing for all mankind.
In fact, Cao Zhi has described Shuodan's greetings: Wanhui Zhaosu, Ya Sui Yingxiang, and Naqing, the first two words show that Cao Zhi has the knowledge reserves I said, and the last word belongs to the habits of the time. During the Han Dynasty, when Shuo Dan arrived, everyone gave each other shoes and socks.
In fact, this gift already speaks for itself. Hurry up and get ready to escape, but I don't know that the earth is really going to wander, where can humans go?
In recent years, the old horse, who has seen the West, seems to be aware of these problems, so he keeps studying rockets.
In the future, you can give a small rocket on New Year's Day, which means that we have a way back. However, I don't know what the Earth thinks?
If the earth sees that human beings are so nervous, then I will give you a little distance, so this winter is exceptionally cold, and everything changes have internal laws.
Therefore, the warm winter belongs to the time when the earth's mood is stable, and the cold winter should be careful. It's not just a matter of cold snaps, it's a question of how the planet runs.
Finally, on the occasion of New Year's Day, I wish the world a peaceful and auspicious New Year.
I wish the ancestors of the earth, your old man's body and mind are unified, and you are extremely healthy.
Write casually, the text is complicated, please also be pleasant).
