Zhang Chao, professor of Xi'an Aviation Vocational and Technical College and dean of the School of Aviation Maintenance Engineering, has been committed to the reform and construction of vocational education for 25 years, and has contributed to the development of vocational education in Shaanxi Province on the way to practicing vocational education.
In 2019, Zhang Chao was appointed as the Dean of the School of Aviation Maintenance Engineering. The School of Aviation Maintenance Engineering of Xi'an Aviation Vocational and Technical College has more than 3,000 students and more than 80 faculty members. The textbook "ABB Industrial Robot On-site Programming" edited by him was approved as a national "14th Five-Year Plan" textbook and won the second prize of excellent textbook for colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province. Under his leadership, the school's mechatronics technology major has become a leading major in China and a first-class major in Shaanxi Province, and the application of industrial robot technology ranks among the best in the country.
