American luxury brand Cadillac recently unveiled a new three-row pure electric SUV Vistiq, its product positioning is between the 5-seat mid-to-large SUV Ruige, the large flagship three-row SUV Escalade IQ, and is built on the Autonen pure electric platform, and its body configuration of the 600 E4 nameplate, which is speculated to have a maximum horsepower of up to 500 horsepower under the dual-motor four-wheel drive. The new model is expected to go on sale in the North American market in early 2025.
In recent years, the American luxury brand Cadillac has launched a number of pure electric models such as Ruige and Escalade IQ, and the Vistiq series will become the brand's fifth pure electric car.
In terms of product positioning, the original manufacturer announced that the Vistiq will be between the five-seat mid-to-large SUV Ruige and the large flagship three-row SUV Escalade IQ. So even though the original factory has not released the detailed body size specifications of the Vistiq, judging from the comparison of the 4,996mm length of Ruige and the 5,697mm length of the Escalade IQ, the Vistiq should be among the large SUVs with a length of more than 5 meters.
It is not difficult to see the strong kinship between Vistiq and the big brother Escalade IQ and Ruige, including the rather domineering upright LED headlight design at the front of the car, as well as the daytime running light bar at the front of the car, and the closed radiator guard with crystal transparent style, which presents a very strong style of today's American luxury family.
On the side of the car, the Vistiq has the design of the long wheelbase of the Autonen pure electric platform, and the side windows of the car are designed with flat piano paint from the B-pillar and C-pillar, showing the momentum of being connected. The side door panels are also flat with chrome trim, with chrome trim strips on the front fenders and a sporty look from the front doors under the side that extends all the way up from the front doors.
At the rear, the Vistiq also has a family vocabulary modeled after the Escalade IQ and Ruige, with L-shaped LED light bars on each side of the rear bracket, plus vertical LED light bars on both sides under the tailgate, forming a rather luxurious split LED tail light cluster. The raised chrome trim on the side of the car also extends all the way to the rear of the car, and the trapezoidal fog silver anti-scratch trim plate on the rear bumper brings a rather slender and domineering luxury atmosphere.
Although the original factory has not announced the detailed power specifications, the outside world speculates from the 600 E4 emblem on the rear that it has a power layout similar to Ruige. Because in the Ruige car series, there are also models marked with 600 e4 power, and the 600 e4 model on Ruige uses a dual-motor four-wheel drive system, which can provide up to 500 horsepower and 610 Nm. m of torque performance.
In terms of battery capacity, it is also expected to refer to the performance of Ruige, which has a maximum lithium battery pack of 102kWh (overseas markets), and its EPA range can reach up to 494 km for dual-motor four-wheel drive models and 505 km for single-motor rear-wheel drive models. The Vistiq model is currently expected to be sold in North America in early 2025 as the 2026 model, and we will continue to monitor the future.
