Dear leaders, judges, enthusiastic environmental volunteers, hello everyone!I am Tan Zhongyou from Hunan Xinhua Bird Protection Camp, and I am honored to be named the 2023 Green Hunan Outstanding Person. This honor is like a heavy burden, which requires the joint efforts of all of us to carry it. At this moment, my heart is surging and full of emotion, and I just want to express my feelings in three sentences.
First of all, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to leaders at all levels for their trust and encouragement, to "Let Migratory Birds Fly" and the Hunan Ecological Conservation Federation for their strong support, and to thank those volunteers who have worked side by side with me. Without your help, I would not be able to achieve the honor I am today. This honor belongs to everyone here.
Secondly, I am proud of the Xinhua Bird Guard. Just as seeds need fertile soil to thrive, our team has grown rapidly with the care of our leaders and volunteers. I know very well that behind this honor is our common efforts and struggles. This honor will become the most precious memory of my life.
Finally, I would like to say that the Green Xiangzhong Outstanding Person Award is not only an affirmation and recognition of me, but also a heavy responsibility and mission. In the days to come, I will devote myself to the cause of ecological environmental protection with volunteers with more enthusiasm and firm faith, and contribute a modest strength to our homeland.
