Guangzhou Baiyun Station is located in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, the station building is divided into 7 floors, including 3 floors above ground, 4 floors underground, and 3 floors above ground from top to bottom are elevated commercial floors, elevated waiting floors, and platform floorsThe first underground floor is the social parking lot layer, the second underground floor is the outbound and comprehensive traffic transfer layer, and the rest is the urban rail transit layer, forming a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation hub with convenient, fast and efficient transfer.
After the opening of Guangzhou Baiyun Station, it will undertake the departure and arrival operations of multiple lines such as Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Guangzhou-Meizhou-Shantou Railway and Guangzhou-Mao Railway, so as to further enhance the passenger capacity of Guangzhou Railway Hub.
The dynamic testing was launched on November 18, and the testing scope is the line from Guangzhou Baiyun Station to Guangzhou Station to Guangzhou East Railway Station and the new Huaguang Liaison Line. The Huaguang Liaison Line leads from the existing Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway Guangzhou North Station to Guangzhou Baiyun Station, realizing the introduction of Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway into Guangzhou urban area, with a length of about 19 kilometers on the downward line, about 18 kilometers on the upward line, and a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
During the dynamic testing period, China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. uses comprehensive testing trains and related testing equipment to conduct comprehensive evaluation and dynamic testing of the function, performance, status and logical relationship between systems such as tracks, catenary, communications, and signals, so as to find and rectify existing problems in time until the overall system meets the dynamic acceptance standards.
After the opening of Guangzhou Baiyun Station, the functions of Guangzhou Railway Hub Guangzhou Station, Guangzhou East Railway Station and other stations will be optimized and adjusted accordingly, and the division of labor between each station will be more scientific and reasonable, which will greatly facilitate the travel of the people and continue to enhance the happiness and sense of gain of the majority of passengers, which is of great significance to improve the passenger transport capacity of Guangzhou Railway Hub, improve the quality of passenger service, promote the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and promote the economic and social development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
