The vice president of my unit is 60 years old this year, but he still hopes to work for another 5 years. Although his boss politely declined his request, he insisted on clocking in and out of office every day and was unwilling to return to the office.
The leader had no choice but to forcibly clean up his belongings, but the deputy general manager did not comply.
The vice president changed his job three years ago and was mainly in charge of logistics. Two months ago, the employer issued a retirement notice, giving him ample time to prepare.
However, on the day of his retirement, he refused to go through the formalities of retirement, on the grounds that he could still continue to work for the company for five years. He said that the state has been encouraging elderly workers to give full play to their surplus heat, enjoy the rights and interests of pension and make a difference, why can't the unit respond to these appeals.
The leader of the unit said that he understood the feeling of continuing to contribute to the unit, but the current rule is to retire at the age of 60. The leaders also pointed out that the veteran comrades should be clear-minded, know how to obey the retirement regulations, and give opportunities to young people.
However, regardless of the leadership's explanation, the vice president is still reluctant to retire. The attitude of the unit was also very resolute, and in the end, the vice president compromised and proposed to be rehired, but the salary remained unchanged.
However, the unit rejected his request again, and the vice president verbally attacked the leader, believing that the leader lacked human touch, and in doing so, he snubbed the hearts of the old employees.
I have the following opinion on this matter:
1.It's a good thing to be able to retire on time and normally, and if you really delay your retirement in the future, you may regret it.
2.After retirement, you should be obedient, don't be obsessed with retaining your rights, and as a working person, you should go through the retirement procedures in accordance with the regulations, and don't be confused.
3.After retirement, you should not cause trouble to your unit and colleagues, and it is the dignity of retirees to leave quietly.
4.Some people are reluctant to leave because of the relatively good benefits they enjoy. For people who meet such people, you can ask if they are willing to stay and play their spare heat if the employer no longer provides compensation.
5.Once retired, you must go through the retirement procedures and hand over properly, and there should be no appropriation.
6.Before leaving, make a good impression on everyone and don't make unreasonable demands, otherwise you will damage your reputation and make people laugh.
