Today, with the launch of CRRC Zhuzhou's new-generation electric drive product C-Power 220S in Zhuzhou Zhigu Industrial Park, the cumulative mass production of CRRC's new energy passenger vehicle electric drive has exceeded 1 million units. Hunan CRRC Times Electric Drive Technology, a subsidiary of CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, has become the first electric drive company in Hunan with a mass production of one million units. At the 4th New Energy Vehicle Electric Drive Independent Innovation Technology Summit Forum, this landmark electric drive product was presented to the city. First released in 2021, this product with silicon carbide technology adopts an innovative motor and control system design, with a system efficiency of up to 94%, which is suitable for high-frequency fast charging, long battery life, and high safety requirements of new energy vehicles. 
In recent years, the new energy vehicle market has developed rapidly. According to public data, from January to November this year, global sales of new energy vehicles reached 83040,000 units, an increase of 307%。In November, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China both exceeded one million. The rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry is inseparable from the continuous improvement of the industrial chain. In addition to the power battery, the motor drive system is another core component of new energy vehicles. Its main function is to provide power for new energy vehicles, and it is the main executive structure in the driving of electric vehicles, that is, the "engine" of electric vehicles. In 2014, CRRC Zhuzhou Times Electric Vehicle Division was established, with more than 60 years of pure electric technology accumulation in the field of rail transit, within 9 years, CRRC Electric Drive invested nearly 2 billion yuan in product and technological innovation, built 5 key technologies such as deep integration of power electronics and machinery, independent core devices and their applications, formed 118 authorized invention patents, and gradually formed four production bases in Zhuzhou, Wuxi, Changchun, Liuzhou, etc., with a production capacity of more than one million sets of electric drive systems and components. The 1,000,000th product off the assembly line is not only a summary of the past, but also indicates the rapid expansion of the industrial scale and the continuous improvement of the industry's status. At present, the market share of CRRC's electric drive products ranks among the top six in China, and the highest monthly ranking in 2023 is the third in China, winning industry recognition. 
Wang Wei'an, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, said in his speech that Zhuzhou will unswervingly comply with the electrification, intelligence, digitalization, lightweight, and low-carbon of automobiles, and continue to make efforts to build an industrial chain to realize scientific and technological projects, project results, product products, product industrialization, industrial clusters, cluster parks, and park ecology, and provide accurate services with a willing, anxious and impatient attitude. At the summit forum on the innovation technology of independent electric drive of new energy passenger vehicles held on the same day, experts and scholars from associations, universities and enterprises also conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as the new path of independent innovation of new energy vehicles.
