PlayStation Head of Indie Games Shuhei Yoshida shared his personal favorite indie games for 2023 on PS4 5 and PSVR2 platforms via a blog today. 
Boundless Hearts – This heartwarming adventure game from the developers of Indonesia weaves a story of teenage dreams and love with vivid graphics, reminiscent of the films directed by Makoto Shinkai. Will the two who were separated by an accident meet again?Be sure to play to the end. 
Liao Tim Ting: The End of the Peerless Thief - In early 20th century Taiwan, there was a legendary hero who punished the corrupt ruling class, stole the money of the rich, and saved the people, his name was Tim Ding. You can enjoy fast-paced action scenes set against the backdrop of the Taiwanese landscape at the time. It also contains various historical materials from that period, which is very interesting. 
Vivid in your mind - Have you ever been moved to tears while playing a game?In this game, the scene advances every time the player blinks. It's an adventure exclusive to PS VR2 that allows you to relive the short life of a boy who died young. You may find yourself moved to tears at the last moment. 
Chia – a sandbox action game from the development team in New Caledonia that lets you play freely on a beautiful island. The main character, Tchia, has an ability called "Soul Jump", which is really interesting to be able to use by possessing birds, fish, animals, stones, etc.

Humanity – Hundreds of faceless humans walk in groups, with a Shiba Inu leading the way. It's a high-quality puzzle adventure game that makes players ponder the philosophical question of what it means to be human. It also allows players to share and play game levels that they create themselves. 
Synapse – This first-person shooter that uses PS VR2's eye-tracking technology, which lets you select enemies and objects, then utilize the Sense controller to grab, levitate, and throw them. It is a very addictive 3D action game where players can use their special abilities to overcome the dangers that arise against a background of beautiful pastel colors. 
Viewfinder – When you're stuck, a slight change of perspective might be a breakthrough. The game is a magical puzzle adventure game that creates new paths and objects by placing Polaroids that you shoot. What impressed me the most this year was this game. 
EterNights – I wanted to combine 3D action and dating games. To make that dream come true, developer Jae quit his steady job to become an indie game developer and finish the game. At the end of the game, you have to choose one of your companions to confess. 
Cocoon – for me, the beautiful game design is a game with no UI, no tutorials, but the player still knows what to do. A new puzzle adventure from the creators of the timeless masterpiece Inside. The game is constantly delighted with mysterious puzzles.
Trinitys – For those who love MMORPG boss fights but don't have the time to do it, this game is for you. The game can be played in up to three-player co-op for a series of challenging boss fights. The action mechanic allows the player to stand still for the longer they get a powerful buff, which is unique.
