The case of Li Dong, former member of the party group and deputy general manager of the State Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd., was investigated by the State Supervision Commission and designated by the Supreme People's Procuratorate to be reviewed and prosecuted by the People's Procuratorate of Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. Recently, the Yichun Municipal People's Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution with the Yichun Intermediate People's Court.
During the examination and prosecution stage, the procuratorate informed the defendant Li Dong of his procedural rights in accordance with the law, interrogated the defendant Li Dong, and listened to the defender's opinions. The procuratorate indicted and alleged: Defendant Li Dong took advantage of his position as deputy secretary and manager of the party committee of Shenhua Zhunger Coal Company, deputy secretary of the party committee and chairman of Shenhua Group Zhunger Energy Co., Ltd., deputy chief engineer of Shenhua Group Co., Ltd., member of the party group and deputy general manager of Shenhua Group Co., Ltd., member of the party group and deputy general manager of the State Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd., and other positions, to seek benefits for others and illegally accept property from others, the amount of which is particularly huge, and shall be punished in accordance with the law criminal responsibility for crimes.
