At the beginning of the new year, everything is renewed. The employees of New Ocean Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of SUMEC Shipping Company, welcomed the arrival of the new year with full enthusiasm, and the docks, workshops, and wharves showed a busy scene everywhere. New Ocean completed 8 major nodes in 7 days, with various highlights of starting, docking, launching, sea trial and delivery, realizing a "good start" in the new year and laying a solid foundation for the company to complete the annual goals and tasks.

On January 9th, the first of the four Crown 63K Plus bulk carriers built by New Ocean Shipbuilding for Turkish shipowner Ciner was successfully delivered.

On January 3, a Crown 63 Plus bulk carrier of New Ocean Shipbuilding went to sea for sea trials.

On January 4th and 5th, the construction of three Crown 63 PLUS bulk carriers of New Ocean Shipbuilding started at the same time.

On January 7, the new Ocean Shipbuilding Crown 63 PLUS bulk carrier DY4149 was launched and undocked.

On January 8, the new Ocean Shipbuilding Crown 63 PLUS bulk carriers NDY1258 and NDY1260 were docked and loaded.

In the past year, all the staff of New Ocean Shipbuilding worked hard to successfully complete the delivery task and posted a satisfactory report card. In 2024, all employees of New Ocean will consolidate the management foundation, improve production efficiency, shorten the construction cycle, further expand production capacity, and fully complete the annual goals and tasks with quality and quantity in accordance with the company's deployment, so as to contribute to the high-quality and sustainable development of the shipping company and SUMEC Group.
