5G base station energy-saving and digital management solutions.

The base station uses electricity intelligently.

Energy-saving control of base station power consumption.
By setting up the control logic at the edge computing gateway, collecting the external ambient temperature of the base station and the internal temperature of the base station for comparison and judgment, the air conditioner standby and the start-stop fresh air fan are automatically controlled, and the internal temperature and humidity of the base station are controlled within the target range by natural cooling, so as to realize the energy saving of air conditioning in the base station.

Base station power expansion management.
Since the energy consumption of 5G is 3 times higher than that of 4G base stations, if the original 4G base station is upgraded, it is likely to encounter the problem of insufficient original mains capacity, and upgrading the mains may require replacing the original power supply cables, circuit breakers, air conditioners, switching power supplies, batteries and many other equipment, and may not even be able to increase the mains capacity.
Previously, Huawei and China Tower Company cooperated on a solution of "no change of mains power and no power distribution", which is actually to add an additional "power bank", when the load peak exceeds the normal mains limit, the lithium battery energy storage discharge participates in the load power supplyWhen the load is idle, the lithium battery energy storage is transferred to charge to replenish the power. 2.Intelligent ventilation and cooling system.

2.Big data analytics.
By collecting the operating data of the base station, big data analysis can be performed. At the same time, analyze the operation status of the base station equipment, the failure rate of the equipment, carry out equipment maintenance in advance, reduce the failure rate of the equipment, and improve the stable operation time of the base station.
