On the morning of December 13, a cordon was set up in front of the Youth Street of the University of Technology in Tianyuan District, and the urban management team members were using aerial work vehicles to rectify the billboards, and soon after a large outdoor billboard that occupied the sidewalk was removed in accordance with the law. It is understood that in order to improve the management level of outdoor advertising and crack down on the chaos of illegal advertising, Tianyuan urban management has recently carried out special rectification actions on illegal billboards in its jurisdiction.
The rectification action focuses on outdoor advertisements that occupy urban public space (green belts, sidewalks, etc.) set up in violation of regulations, and law enforcement officers follow the principle of "publicity first, rectification later", and issue a "Notice of Correction Order" to the advertising setter one by one, urging them to take the initiative to remove illegal billboards. If the rectification is not completed within the prescribed time limit, the urban management department shall dismantle it in accordance with the law. In this operation, a total of 46 illegal billboards were removed on Taishan Road, Hengshan Road, Huanghe Road and other road sections, effectively curbing the illegal behavior of occupying public space to set up advertisements.
In the next step, Tianyuan urban management will continue to increase the intensity of inspection and rectification, continuously improve the outdoor advertising governance system, consolidate the effectiveness of rectification actions, and strengthen the publicity of relevant laws and regulations, guide citizens to standardize the installation of advertising signs, and jointly create a good urban order.
