The inspectors found that some counties (cities) in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, opened mountains for mining in violation of regulations in the name of mine restoration and land leveling, and the supervision was not effective, causing environmental pollution and ecological damage. In September 2020, Hui'an County approved the "ecological restoration and governance" project of the two mines, which was organized and implemented by the Hemu Farm Development Organization jointly established by the two mining enterprises. Since the implementation of the treatment project, not only has the mine not been repaired, but the mining area of the mining area has nearly doubled.

In Henan, the inspectors found that the illegal excavation of sand and quarrying in Huixian, Weihui and other places in Xinxiang City and other places to damage the ecological environment was prominent, resulting in the destruction of the site of Zhao Great Wall, a cultural relics protection unit in Henan Province. When the mining department of Weihui City applied for the mining license for the fourth workshop of natural resources, it did not solicit the opinions of the administrative department of cultural relics in accordance with the regulations, and included the 2nd section of Tangzhuang, the 651-meter-long Zhao Great Wall site, into the mining scope. A number of companies have also caused damage to Zhao Changcheng in the process of illegal mining. Up to now, only 855 meters of the site of the Great Wall of Zhao exists, 716% of the length of the Great Wall has been damaged to varying degrees.

Due to the failure of ecological flow discharge to meet the requirements of stability and sufficiency, some rivers have been reduced and dehydrated.
