Help others in moderation

In the human world, there is an emotion called "helping", and there is an act called "giving". However, as the ancients said, "too much", when we have no self-worth, unlimited giving and cheap help will only make others feel that we have some ulterior motives.

I once met an old man who set up a street stall every morning selling homemade pastries. His pastries are sweet and delicious, fair, and loved by people. However, he has a habit of leaving some penny pastries on the stall after selling them, waiting for those in need to pick them up. He never flaunts his good deeds, and he never expects anything in return. He just silently did what he thought he should do, in his own way to help those in need.

However, as the old saying goes, "Fight Mien, Rise Mi Hatred". After receiving the help of the elderly, some people not only do not know how to be grateful, but take the good deeds of the elderly for granted. Instead of being grateful to the old man, they began to ask for more, and even took revenge. They forgot about the kindness of the old man and only saw the pastry in the old man's hand.

It got me thinking, what exactly is really helping? In my opinion, the real help should be measured. We can't give without limits, and we can't help without limits. We should help those who know how to be grateful, so that they can feel our kindness while receiving help. And for those who are not grateful or will take revenge, we should let them understand that our kindness is not infinite and not cheap.

In the world, everyone has their own worth and dignity. We must not lose sight of our own worth because of our good intentions. We should take care of ourselves while helping others. Only in this way can our help be more meaningful and valuable.

In closing, I would like to say that let's cherish our own worth while helping others. Let's use a degree of help to warm those in need. Let our kindness, like the old man's pastries, be sweet and unforgettable.
