Recently, the national finals of the 6th "Bloom Cup" 5G Application Collection Competition ended in Shanghai. The "5G Private Network Empowering the Construction of the Largest Container Demonstration Port in Jiangbei Inland River" jointly created by Jining Port and Longgong Port, Jingwei Hengrun, Jining Mobile and ZTE stood out from more than 40,000 excellent project cases across the country and won the first prize in the national divisionThis project is also the only project in the port industry that won the first prize in this year's Bloom Cup National Competition.

The competition was hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and jointly organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the 5G Application Industry Matrix, the IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group, the China Communications Standards Association, and the BRICS Future Network Research Institute (China Branch).

The project application takes 5G-enabled intelligent automation of inland ports as the entry point, mainly including three innovative application scenarios: 5G-enabled digital twin system, 5G-enabled port automated operation system, and 5G-enabled intelligent safety management and control, creating a first-class inland intelligent container port in China and making up for the shortcomings of "strong sea and weak river". China Mobile has deployed a lightweight core network in the port area to achieve full coverage of the 700m port area6G HAECO coverage, 4Precise coverage of 9G driverless roads. Through the 5G private network to empower the intelligent construction of ports, combined with digital twins, loading and unloading automation, safety management and control and other application scenarios, the pain points of ports are solved, and a new paradigm of intelligent operation of inland containers is formed.

In view of the high standard requirements of port containers for 5G signal blocking and unmanned driving for 5G reliability, Jingwei Hengrun cooperates with ports, operators, and 5G equipment manufacturers to implement accurate 5G coverage for the port area and improve the 5G signal quality and signal-to-noise ratio in combination with the port driverless 5G index requirements and the 5G signal blocking characteristics of port containers. Based on the safe and reliable 5G link, Jingwei Hengrun's 5G remote driving, operation scheduling management system, digital twin system and intelligent transportation system can be operated safely and stably.
