Recently, the "Big Coffee is Coming" activity entered the Beishuiwan Branch of Shanghai Jiading District Experimental Primary School. This event invited Mr. Yang Qi, Senior Engineer of Shanghai Jiading District Water Affairs Bureau, and Mr. Lou Yibin, Chief of the River Section of Shanghai Jiading District Water Conservancy Management Institute, to carry out a series of theme lectures on "Wisdom Inheritance, Innovation and Empowerment - Big Coffee Enters the Campus to Explore the Water Energy Around Us".

At the scene, the two teachers used their professional knowledge to explain the knowledge about water resources, water environment and water safety to the students, and advocated that everyone develop good Xi of saving water and caring for the water environment from an early age. Mr. Lou Yibin showed the distribution of water resources in Shanghai and the impact of water shortage on people's lives through charts and data.

Teacher Yang Qi introduced some scientific and technological innovations to the students in flood control. For example, the intelligent monitoring system can collect data such as water level and rainfall in real time to provide an accurate basis for decision-making. Geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing technology can accurately locate and assess inundation areas. The application of these high-tech technologies has greatly improved our ability to respond to floods, protected the safety of people's lives and property, and let students understand the importance of the power of science and technology for flood control.

Through this lecture, the students not only deepened their understanding of water resources protection, but also deeply realized the importance of science and technology in improving flood prevention work. Everyone said that they should start from themselves and develop good Xi of saving water and caring for the water environment. At the same time, they also said that they will have the opportunity to devote themselves to the field of scientific and technological innovation in the future and contribute to the protection of water resources and flood control.
