From December 7th to 9th, the 2023 China College Student Aerobics Championship, hosted by the Chinese University Sports Association of the Ministry of Education, was held in the Sports Park Complex of Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. Nearly 1,000 athletes and coaches from 62 universities across the country, including Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Beijing Sport University, Guangzhou University of Sport, Wuhan University of Sport, Nanjing University of Sport, Sun Yat-sen University, Zhejiang University, etc., participated in the competition.
The Bohai University team was led by Qi Shikai, vice president of the School of Physical Education, and Zhang Ying and Wang Chunxin served as coaches, participating in the aerobics competition of the sports professional college group. In the aerobics championship, the Bohai University team won the Sports Ethics Award, 10 students from the School of Physical Education, including Chen Yi and Liu Lida, won the fourth place in the national senior campus aerobics of Chinese college students in the sports professional college group, and 3 students from the School of Physical Education, including Mao Bingwen, Ma Yuhan and Bai Yunpeng, won the sixth place in the national three-person gymnastics in the sports professional college group.
The students of Bohai University rotated and jumped, lifted and threw on the field, fully demonstrating the charm of aerobics and jumping out of their youth. With their exquisite skills, tacit cooperation, energetic dancing posture, and youthful enthusiasm, they embody the good spiritual outlook of contemporary college students and win honor for the school.
