Recently, the second phase of the project of Line 18 civil engineering 1 Biaotong South Road Station Changjiang West Road Station section of the downward line shield was successfully launched.
This departure is another new journey after the smooth completion of all sections of Changjiang West Road Station and Jiangyang South Road Station. The total length of the shield section of the downward line between Tongnan Road Station and Changjiang West Road Station is 851727 meters, along the Yujiang Lane route from north to south.
In order to do a good job in the initial work of the shield, the fourth branch organized the review of the special construction plan for the hole, carefully sorted out the risk of the hole and the emergency response plan, and put forward specific requirements for the shield propulsion parameters, segment assembly quality, leakage point control, etc. It also requires the construction unit to plan ahead, coordinate with multiple parties to handle the relevant procedures of shield tunneling, reasonably allocate resources and equipment, carefully prepare the construction plan, and improve the management system for the disclosure, implementation and inspection and acceptance of the shield construction process.
At the same time, the fourth branch organized a number of program discussions and disclosures in the early stage, continuously improved the feasibility of the construction plan, accurately controlled the construction progress, improved the quality management requirements, took into account various factors such as personnel, equipment and materials, implemented the group's "six high quality" and "ten objectives" quality requirements, paid attention to the management measures such as water and leakage water in the shield working area, adhered to the quality orientation, and made unremitting efforts to do a good job in Shanghai rail transit quality project.

The second phase of Shanghai Rail Transit Line 18 is located in Baoshan District, starting from Changjiang South Road Station, the terminal station of the first phase of the project, to Dakang Road Station, with a main line length of about 81 km, all underground, with a total of 6 stations. After the completion and opening of the second phase of Line 18, it will further enhance the east-west transportation capacity of the northern part of the main urban area, thereby serving the transformation and development of Wusong area and drawing a new chapter in the "northern transformation" of Baoshan District.
