On the afternoon of December 22, the launching ceremony of the 2023 Old Community Renovation Project in Hanxiuli Area, Shiqi Street, Zhongshan was held in the parking lot of Hanxiuli, Shiqi Street. The old community renovation project is an important livelihood project in Shiqi Street, and it is also an important starting point for improving the living environment, improving the quality of the city, and promoting the "Millions and Thousands Project".
It is reported that Shiqi Street, as the core urban area of Zhongshan City, is facing problems such as a large number of old residential areas, aging infrastructure, and imperfect supporting facilities. This year, the Shiqi Sub-district Office systematically plans to renovate more than 200 old communities in 23 districts from 2023 to 2024, with a total investment of about 1.3 billion yuan. On the same day, the three districts of Hanxiuli, Guangming Road, and Baishuijing were the second batch of projects to start construction this year, and the number of old communities under construction has reached 58.
According to Li Jieping, deputy director of the Shiqi Sub-district Office, Shiqi Sub-district will adhere to the principle of "respecting history, inheriting cultural context, improving people's livelihood and improving quality", adhere to high-starting point planning, high-standard design, high-quality construction and high-efficiency management, strengthen public infrastructure, based on the inheritance of urban context, strengthen the long-term governance of the community, and strive to transform the old community into a beautiful home suitable for living, working and traveling.
The main purpose of this renovation project is to strengthen the infrastructure, we will do drainage, rain and sewage diversion and road renovation in some old communities, strengthen some dilapidated houses with exposed steel bars, and repair some dilapidated walls, so as to enhance the image of the city. Li Jieping told reporters that he hoped that through the old community renovation project, the old Shiqi would usher in a gorgeous butterfly change.
The reporter saw in the Hanxiuli area that day that some old communities had been fenced with dust nets, and workers were working on the site. Zhongshan Qitong Construction Engineering is one of the undertakers of the old community project, the company's deputy general manager Fang Ligao told reporters: "Due to the large number of elderly people in the community, we will pay attention to the transformation of the elderly, such as public stairs, roads, etc. At the same time, we will also install some fitness equipment in the community to meet the needs of residents as much as possible. ”
Hu Ruiyuan, a resident, told reporters that the renovation of the old community aims to create a safer and more comfortable living environment for everyone, "We will actively participate in the renovation of the old community, understand, support and cooperate with the renovation work, and work together to create a livable, harmonious and beautiful home."
