One day, Li Xian ordered the same people to drink until dark and did not return home, and a few hundred steps from home, he saw his two sons come to greet him.
Unexpectedly, the two sons caught him together and beat him, Li Xianling was shocked and angry, and kept shouting, but because it was dark, there was no one around.
In this way, Li Xianling was beaten all the way to the door of the house, and at this time, the two sons stopped and left.
After Li Xianling entered the door, the two sons came out of the house to greet them, and Li Xianling asked them what was going onThe two sons said that they had been at home all the time and had not gone out, so it was impossible for them to beat their father.
More than a month after this incident, Li Xianling went to his relative's house to drink again, and told his relatives about the strange things he encountered after drinking last time, and because he was afraid of what happened last time, he did not dare to go home that night, so he asked to stay at his relative's house.
Li County's two sons were worried that he would be beaten again when he returned late, so they went out together to greet him, and on the way to greet him, they actually ran into Li County.
When Li Xianling saw his two sons, he was furious and said, "It's so late, what are you doing when you come out?"Then he arranged for his followers to beat his two sons.
The next day, when Li Xianling arrived home, he was even more shocked when he heard that his son had been beaten.
Within a few months, Li Xianling's father and son passed away one after another. According to the locals, there have always been mountain ghosts in this area of Shuzhou, and close relatives who like to change ** tease people.
In the book, what Li Xianling's family encountered was also attributed to the ghost of Li Qiu.
This incident is also included in the Taiping Guangji, volume 353.
